It was like Russian nesting dolls very time I thought it must be the last spoiler!

Long time lurker, first time poster. Just had to sign up. (Go easy on me - I'm Canadian. Family emigrated from Shoreditch and brought the love of Tottenham with them to Toronto)

Anyway - the mystery two were mentioned last week by JJ as being ones who would take our squad above Liverpool and Arse but still below Man City, Man Utd and Chelski.

Now if Arse grab the rat from the Bin Dippers that would probably give them the edge if we lose Bale. But if we grab the rat plus Contrao to go along with Soldado....then we will certainly have a stronger squad.

Add in a crypic from the Goat (possibly via JJ?) stating it would take a "bite" out of our funds and I think I see who the replacement would be.

Or is that just a crazy idea?

Can't see us get suarez. Cheaper alternatives especially wages.

I can't believe how quiet it's been in terms of ITK for players not named Bale and Bernard.

We haven't really heard much at all about CBs. Nothing much about potential replacements for Bale. It's strange, really.

Just one final thought on today's ITK. I really hope Siggy stays and there is a place for him in the squad. AVB has got a lot of things right but taking an AMC and making him a LW and expecting instant success was a bit odd. AVB didn't really put him in a position to get the most out of him.

There is talent in him and I just hope we put it to good use before he's sold to someone like Liverpool where Rodgers already knows how to utilize him and get the best out of him. It is one transfer we might regret.

Just a quickie. Sorry I haven't read the previous 49 pages so I'm hoping that I don't say the same as everyone else. I did see the other ITK comments though.
All still happening but no fee has been agreed yet that is the latest as of tonight.
I would Love it to fall over but if not I'm also excited if this is stage 1 that the players in stage 2 happen.

Not sure if there is a stage 1 maybe only stage 0.5 if RM only give a verbal number and thereafter no more news.

I highly doubt they will get pass stage 1 since RM had extended Ronaldo contract.

Not surprised by this at all, Bernard seems like he is very much in Scolari's plans atm but would really jeopardize that by playing in Ukraine. Scolari seems to have an irrational bias against the Brazilians who play there, even Willian couldn't get a look in.
