We’ve been trying to get them to include Martial literally this whole summer and now we’re saying no so that we can get some game time out of Janssen and GKN for the 40 odd grand a week we’re paying them?

This can’t be true.

It's not true. It may be the reason given to his sources but it's almost certainly bollocks.

Janssen will probably end up loaned out. So will GKN.

No way would we pass up signing a player of his standing because of that. However if a better option became available.....

ali z on turning down martial?: no we aren't turning him down but have no space for non hg as it is Jansen, gnk and 1 other won't be registered, can't create a situation where we have 3/4 players getting paid who can't kick a ball.

It defo sounds like an excuse , just release N'kandou cut the loss , in long run for example not having martial but trying to recoup the 11m on nkandou is bad business and cost benefit is silly .... 11m loss on gkn but having martial who will play and will help us and poch would help improve him ... its a no brainer ... in business you take a loss now and again but your still in the red overall ... does feel like the spin from the club is underway big time ... ps thats no dig at the itk just the club

Unchuffingbelievable if we let our inability to sell players who have never performed well for us prevent us from signing actual properly good ones. Just fucking pay somebody to take them off our hands if that's what it takes.

I think its more likely that a player at a different position is the priority for a non-HG spot. If you tie this with the ITK that Grealish is not first choice, then I would guess that first choice is a non-HG player.

Just putting it out there, the itk said that we do have other non homegrown targets.

We currently have 2/3 too many, even shifting the two loanees, llorente and sissoko only opens up one or two, which we may fill with other targets (optimistic). We then have no other to shift realistically.

It's a real shame to think we may miss out on martial due to him being non-hg when we'd surely expect European clubs to come in for some of our players for sale, after our window has shut, which would open up more non-hg spaces for our squad.

on HG situation+martial:GNK and VJ will not be registered it is if we add to that we have to leave others out, as i said Pochs priority is elsewhere at the minute.
