If other clubs aren’t prepared to pay the money Levy wants for our deadwood now then they’re not going to pay in any other window. We either cut our losses on them now and strengthen our squad or face the same issue next year. Just do what we did when Poch 1st took over and we had a bloated squad, flogged all the dross for peanuts and look at us now, a much stronger team.

If anything I would hope this window serves as a wakeup call on our transfer policy, taking risks on cheap foreign players seemed a good idea at the time but none have really gone the way we'd hoped. Marcus Edwards could have developed had we not tried our luck with N'jie and N'koudou. There's always a market for young English players, any foreign buys should be top draw with less risk

I didnt realise until today what a mental asylum this is, people hearing that ITK and going ah that makes sense as poch main target isn't HG. I think this needs to be bathed in salt.

So you would be happy to use youth as we did then? I wouldn't mind giving them a chance, none that have been given a chance have let us down. I think the meltdown in here would be spectacular though, which would be fun.

We’ve previously had ITK when Vorm was possibly going that Gazzaniga wasn’t deemed good enough to be a number 2. If that’s the case then get rid of him.

Despite today’s ITK being baffling, frustrating, nut blowing - BUT at least there is stuff happening and there are options!!!! A week ago we were terrified the tumbleweed was leading to nowt - but this gives us hope (... that stuff which will ultimately destroy us all next week...)

Next season if not already in Januari both Dembele and Vorm will leave, thats for sure. If we can off load Janssen and GKN now thats three hg spots with Toby also gone. Two more already certain next year, I think this hg problem us more tactics then a real problem.

Can’t be bothered to scroll back and check if your post is related further back but in 19/20 the HG picks go from 8 to 10 as I understand. The administration should be started sooner than later. It’s also an indication that the process has started with the teams selected for the ICC tourny and the one off pounding we got in Spain.
