Must be a lot of new posters on here, either that or short memories, as in previous transfer windows some cryptics went on for days/weeks.

Cabbages was a particularly infuriating one that went on for what seemed like the whole summer.

Oh god, don’t remind me. I’m not sure what was worse about that: the time it dragged on for, the endless cabbage trivia I was subjected to or the end reveal that after all that it was about Javi fucking Hernandez!

Not new. It’s just that A&C said he was prepared to just give the info, but thought he’d make it more fun! I have 2 young children so I don’t have much time for fun that doesn’t involve talking about poo or wee wee so had hoped for an answer!

Makes perfect sense. It’s prudent to see how he’d fair in the EPL. We did the same with Tripps and looks likely the same process with Sess.
The only slight gamble is if he absolutely smashes it and then becomes a City target.

Our Daniel would never entertain fattening a cow for someone else to eat. Very bad business. Only with ‘Option’ in our favour. And that goes for any player! I would suggest this player is being ushered to us by RM, and for us to accept. Then they press the button for their local rag to put this out there.

We do have a very good relationship with them mind you. That is why I said ‘All eyes on RM’. Little way to go.

Am I reading that right? Am assuming it refers to cellabos. Reads as though things were agreed then they flooded the media with the news maybe to flush out other interested buyers? Or that he wants 40 games/only a loan to appeal to the RM fans maybe. Hard to know what's going on. Also reads that it could involve more than 1 RM player.

Cheers for the update Herc. Ceballos looks a good player, viable Eriksen replacement, eventually. Lo Celso is my first choice replacement for Chris and frankly, if it we only get Ceballos, I'm reluctant to let 23 go. But, I'd be happy with GLC and DC as our two in as replacements.

Well Herc has said (on Thurs) a deal for LC is very close so hopefully you'll be happy come the end of the window

Losing Eriksen would be hard to watch mainly for sentiment but good lord getting in Ceballos and Lo Celso as replacements would massively soften the blow

Looks a bit obvious now that the plan is to get Lo Celso and Ceballos and transfer CE. Will most likely happen imo
