Regarding the Lennon ITK (from Trix ), it just occurred to me that he may have been banished from the squad completely.
It's clear that all the non-international players returned to training on Friday, and Lennon would surely be included in that section, yet we saw nothing on the OS with him in it, indicating that he's either been told to not come back or he's doing what Pienaar and Modric did in the 12-13 pre-season, by training completely separately.

You're right. However my point stands. I never quite understood why we dilly dallied around with that deal when it was imperative that we got him in before the season started.

Or failing that, if Pochettino could get the whole team to defend properly the CM's that got to 5th last year having their first full year might even be good enough this year ?
I really like some of the CM's we've been linked with but I also like the ones we have as well and think they can be improved by experience, good coaching and better organisation around them.
If one of the CM's we've been linked with comes in all good and well but I think the ones we had didn't do too badly at all for their first full season with some of the shit going on around them and I think they could get better.
Probably a dumb question but are peas in anyway apart of the sprout family? The reason I say that is because Aubameyang's nickname is little PEA. Would tie in with JJ's ITK about the forward having loads of pace and better than Embolo. He's been linked with a move away this summer as well.
