Good morning ITK'ers.

No round -up of the ITK today, just a thread refresh and an appeal

Are you a part time SC'er, drawn here like a moth to a flame by the stunning ITK coverage we provide? Why not make SC your home and stay?? We'd love to have you!

As we enter the last month of the window it's our last chance to rattle the tin and try to raise enough donations to continue covering the server costs.

Last week we had a great response which led to it being one of the few months this year where we haven't fallen short of our target but we'd really like to push this on and secure the funds to cover the server costs into the future.

If you can, please donate and help keep the forum going.

I believe it's based on a percentage of turnover, or some other profit measure. So it honestly depends on the quantum. :up:

The Stock Market is closed. We could announce a signing today which would might need to be announced to the Stock Exchange, but announce it as soon as the Exchange opens in the morning. The disclosure rule is to stop insider trading, so that special knowledge of financial matters doesn't give anyone an unfair advantage in share dealing. Off-market trading doesn't count and is completely at buyer and seller risk.

This morning my Missus said there is rioting in Tottenham. I said this not signing a striker is getting serious.

I heard the shouts until the small hours. It was carnage. I saw one banner saying "wheres our number 9?" another read "Harry make your mind up"
I asked a copper what was happening and he said it was a friendly protest until a group of bi-polar supporters demanding to know the identity of B and Y.

Anyway, would be a smart move if the could avoid assaulting anyone (on or off the pitch - apart from van Persie), but, all (mentalist) things considered, we would be better off sticking with Diarra IMO.

Barton and Diarra are similar players, right?

Barton has more of a physical presence at 4 inches taller. Less cultured, but doesn't take up a "foreign" squad place. I would be thinking it's Sandro and Barton fighting for a place (no pun intended) with Diarra and THudd as options to Luka for some games. But if we get both, then Pienaar and JJ look a bit spare.

Selling Palacios and Jenas for 15m and signing Diarra and Barton for 15m would be excellent bit of business. We will have to pay more wages but that's a definite upgrade
