he's probably saying he hasn't heard of any interest regarding Tottenham, not that he hasn't heard of us full stop...

will he hear of us if we offer 120k a week ? couldnt give a shite what and if he did say ... i wud love him at spurs and i dont understand why with arsenal having issues elsewhere and trying to keep nasri and fabregas we dont sneak in ala modric and get it down asap.

sadly i think he is nailed on for the goons. cant see him here at all but top young player , ticks all boxes and covers all bases in an attacking front.

Am I right in thinking that the last time they won a trophy they had two players holding it aloft?

That is what the references to 'two girls one cup' are all about

Not a joke at all. I remember reading the interview.

A friend spoke to him on the tube after the first Inter game and he had no idea we had to play them again at home.

He gets told where he has to be and he just turns up and plays shit hot.

No interest in football outside it is his job.

I admire it in a way. You will never see BAE kissing the badge *theres only one keano*

The book at bedtime update for those of you who don't want to trawl through 46 pages...

skyderen on COYS @ Posted Today, 06:56 PM

DONE I hear! Not sure when he'll arrive, but he should have signed... :SM_banana:

About Leandro

Yeah, it's Leandro.

I was told earlier that we're interested in a young French player who's just signed a new contract, no idea what the name was though (I've never heard of him so I couldn't remember it) so if anyone knows someone who fits the description it would help, I'll probably remember once someone says

Update on ITK re Leandro

skyderen, on 07 July 2011 - 07:00 PM, said:

Hopefully, heard a few days it was down to minor details and just got told by another that he signed last night, so probably soon an official statement.

It was posted in the Defoe thread about an hour ago.

He's apparently having a medical tonight according to Geordie local radio

Can't see Defoe being up there for a medical, there were pictures of him on the OS thisafternoon training with all the other lads

The rumour doing the rounds elsewhere is Defoe (and N'Zog) are having a medical in Sunderland. I think wires have been crossed as someone said it was mentioned on Newcastle radio. Not sure if the twitter link from the apparent agent is independent of or the cause of the rumours but Sunderland do seem to be getting deals tied up early.

Not latest itk as such. But the last time leandro was mentioned to me, it was as good as done. We'll see

Football_Agent9 Football Agent
For those asking - Leandro was officially a Spurs player as of Last Night

Leandro to sign now was what I was told.

Adiepf - I think Harry sees him for now not just the future. I was told that we would go for one uber striker and one if not 2 exciting young strikers. Not sure pedrosa actually fits that mould, but leandro certainly does. Now where's that uber striker?

think your ice cream is my definate choice for uber fella:hump:

Has Agent9 called any other transfers this summer ?

Quiet a few if a remember the gervinho one and he broke the two french guys to newcastle before anyone and ba

Posted this over in the Leandro thread too, but given all the non transfer talk in here i thought this might bring it a bit more back in topic

Article from Brazil quoting an interview that Leandro's agent gave today on regional radio:

http://www.futnet.com.br/futebolgauc...liza-colorados

Basically Leandro's agent saying that Leandro's contract will be renenewd in the next few days (which actually goes against what he said on Monday that he would sign it today) but that if an offer comes in that Inter accept that he could also be off.

He then goes on to say that Leandro's current salary is R$50k per month, which is about £5k per week, however his new contract will be R$300k per month - £35k per week.

He then sums up saying that the contract will be signed on Monday, or maybe today, or at least soon, because it can't be left on the table for long. :???:

All in all it looks like he knows that there is something going on and this is holding up Leandro's new contract deal.

I think it's safe to say from this interview that Spurs are very much still in negotiation with Inter, but nothing had been agreed at the time of this interview.

Ties in with my info that I posted that he is going to extend. I dont claim to be ITK but my source is a household name hack. *SAMBA*

Love it. I admire the guy because he's so honest. He's also said a lot of positive things about Spurs..such as how he'd be happy to stay with us for the rest of his career...and you know it's how he feels at the time.

If he left I'd imagine he'd say something along the lines of "well..i enjoyed playing for Spurs, but then another team came along and offered me more money"...and you know what, I'd respect that.

Little known fact is Le tissier actually signed a contract for us... something happened our end though and the deal fell through... He was talking about it on sky sports saying he signed the contract and it went into our safe...
I don't know if anybody else has said this (I'm still on page 27!) but it wasn't anything at our end. Le Tissier's then fiance said she didn't want to leave Southampton, so Le Tiss asked Irving Scholar if he would tear up the contract, which he (Scholar) did.

This always makes me smile when Le Tissier is quoted as the archetypal one-club player.

EDIT: Having now read page 28, I see there were several responses (and one of them - BBLG - was right!). Sorry for spamming.

To be honest that just makes me respect Le Tissier even more.

fickle fans - from jermain defoe he is a yiddo ringing around whl to now people willing to drive him to the north east!
Not saying i am against upgrading him but crazy how fickle fans are..
There is a world of difference between singing a player's name when he's on the pitch and stating an opinion that he isn't good enough in a forum. It isn't fickle. It's called supporting (one of) your team even though you think he shouldn't be out there.

I don't get it? Whats Joe Lieberman have to do with that?

*That will make sense to the one person who watches the Daily Show with Jon Stewart*

Leandro is 21. Does that mean he counts against our 25 man roster? If so, thats one more person we have to get rid of to get one of the big strikers we're after.
