Here is todays ITK discussion thread, you all know what happened yesterday and i'm going to (against my better judgement) take a few minutes to help you out here. Its all been said far too many times but here we go anyway…...

1: This is where ITK is discussed

2: This is NOT where media news/rumours/Levy whinges/Transfer Policy etc are discussed

3: Player news goes in the relevant players thread

4: If you suddenly find you can't see the ITK & Transfer Rumours sections you been banned for breaking the rules/pissing the mods off/being a ****

5: I do NOT enter into discussions about bans, the rules are clear

6: This thread and part of the site is moderated slightly differently to the rest of SC. If you haven't already, I suggest you familiarise youself with those rules, located in this section of the site.

You all know what's acceptable and you all know that when running properly, this thread is great fun.

Now its up to you.

We had some ITK on Bender via a Fighting Cock podcast last night and some JJ tweets as well, can that be discussed? Normally I wouldn't ask but A&C's opening post has put me in fear of my life...

JJ's tweets are fine to come in here....there was some on Njie to IIRC.

....shouldn't the JJ stuff find its way into the RO? The Njie hint was pretty heavy...

Going by JJ's comments, Sven Bender and N'jie are genuine targets, let's hope we can wrap them up. Add Berahino or Werner to those two and that would represent an excellent window.

Bender
N'jie
Berahino

would be a very very good window.

If we could have got them in last week then it would have been an absoloutley amazing window.

It was nice to see JJ's comments yesterday, pleased he hasnt just upped sticks as result of being plagued with questions by some.

So it appears focus is still same - and those names currently in frame (Bender, Njie, Werner, Berahino) would certainly be welcome and strengthen us considerably and provide options.
Here's hoping things can move on a pace from here.

If you don't want to be crushed by bad new in regards to Adebayor then don't go to the Adebayor thread and read Trix's comments.

Just a heads up (y)

At this point I don't care after JJ's tweet last night that our incomings are in no way impacted by Adebayor leaving. If that is the case, let him rot for the entire year and keep him away from the first team, which I'm sure Poch will.

I find it funny that Ade doesn't want to leave London. Where wtf does he think he will be playing next year when his contract is out? Probably Middle East or China. If he was smart he would go to Villa, prove his worth, and try and dupe another Premier League club into giving him another shot.

I was gonna say "If he's smart" yeah right ....... but had a rethink - im not raking in £100k a week doing jack shit...

having said that I don't get abuse and my family all like me .... swings and roundabouts I guess

Njie would be a good punt I reckon. We need more pace and better movement to compliment our attack.

But would be disappointed if that was the height of our transfer plans from now to deadline day. Njie and Berahino would still be very good though.

I just don't think we'll sign another CM now. Don't see us spending the money to better the options we currently have.
