Definitely others being worked on bud.

Regarding Grealish: He is desperate now to play in the Prem, We still have some way to move but his camp are optimistic. Thing is if we need to get somewhere close as far as financials are concerned and soon.

The concerns are that he will be a good last minute option to a lot of clubs should they miss out on other players, or need a replacement for last minute departures. There have been other clubs making discreet enquiries about his situation, and although he wants us, his people won't wait until the final hour if he has a good offer elsewhere.

My source on this is as good as it gets.;)

I said this on Sunday. There will be a time when they need to get rid and other clubs will see great value in whatever the asking price drops to on Thursday:

Have we got an exclusivity agreement on this one ? Amazed that no other clubs have come in for him as it must be patently obvious to them that he is for sale and that DL is waiting until they are on their knees at
about 2pm on the 9th

I think the point is that igijedi has previously ONLY posted ITK in relation to imminent announcements (signings, contracts, new kits etc.) - ie stuff that has already happened but not yet been announced. I might be wrong, but I don't think he's ever posted ITK about ongoing/future transfers before.
Oh my god someone here can read!

Even when fergie did the treble they strengthened. Any squad needs fresh faces to keep moving forward. Not being reactionary just yet but this is looking more and more like a disaster ☹️

So hard to be positive right now. This was our time to kick on ffs.

49 hours to go, we’ve done fuck all, and there’s very very little ITK to go on.

And the club wonder why fans get royally fucked off.

I love how some people are actually managing to talk themselves into saying that no signings is actually somehow a positive thing and that Poch is content and has decided not to spend any money. Mental.
Exactly, of course he wants money to be spent. That much is obvious. He just doesn't want it spent on Levy's cheap alternatives.

I am mentally preparing myself for no signings. It seems that we don't have as much cash as we were led to believe - stadium going over budget, nobody wanting our cast offs etc.

i dont get how levy is ready and willing to spend and it's poch putting the brakes on when we apparently baulked at the zaha fee despite being told that poch rates him as the best winger in the league

That depends - if we accept that not all were told is always up to date (pinch of salt) then we have to apply that to all what we're told. Poch might have decided he likes what he's seen with Moura pre season etc.

Are you suggesting Poch forgot he’d signed Moura?

That itk may having e pushed me over the edge.

At this rate we’ll be going into the new stadium feeling flatter than we did going into Wembley.

It's been a really strange window this year and I refuse to lose my shit before it closes. There may well be a few twists and turns yet.

Seriously mate, apart from Liverpool which players sign by Prem clubs would it have been worth us signing?

Mahrez. That’s probably it
We all have weaknesses that need addressing no?
If we lose a CB, very probable Toby going,
Strength in depth in MF and a WF which we’ve apparently been after all window.
Poch, the fans wanted fresh faces in to improve, we didn’t need to spend crazy money but to leave to the last two day to grab a bargain championship player is a farce really.

Trying to use a bit of common sense here - so we have Stevie Bruces' recent u-turn on Grelish, i.e in last few days he's gone from saying ''owners said he's not going & we don't need the money now'' to saying ''there is a human side to this'' ''player wants/deserves PL/CL football'' & then taking him off to a standing ovation after 80 mins but suggesting a ''magical figure hasn't been reached yet''

Add in the info that Grealish WANTS us, and then all the ITK that the deal has always been there to be done.

So why hasn't it ? Surely this deal can only have been left so very late for one reason, and that has to be that we are still juggling several pieces and waiting to see what bits we can slot into the jigsaw before we pull the trigger on several deals (due to finances and how different targets fit within the squad + the often discussed HG restrictions).

If the hierachy at Spurs really feel Grealish is the only incoming deal we are going to do then imo it would have already have been done. The longer it goes on suggests other options or combinations of options are not yet considered dead or un-doable.

If i was being super optimistic i would suggest that the reason Levy has left it so very very late is that there is then the potential to swoop in for a really top player (who nobody thought was available) and leave other PL clubs no time to respond with (better) offers of their own.
Aww no not BALE again. Lol actually a link would be good again to keep everyones mind of the dire tw

Mine was the doh rating. You seem to be inferring that because of this, igi's statement could be referring only to an announcement today, but he said "this window". I can change it to a disagree if you wish.
I inferred nothing, and I didn’t even imply that I had inferred anything. I merely posted something which I have seen to be true, that igi only posts itk when there’s something being announced that day. I didn’t say he was doing so here, I merely suggested that people MIGHT have reason to expect something happen later as I can’t remember him posting before if there wasn’t a done deal. That you made a whole load of layered assumptions based on my very simple and uncontroversial post is your prerogative, and don’t worry about the rating, save you energy for throwing all those toys out of the pram later.

I agree. Whilst we can’t say until the window slams shut if we don’t sign anyone it’s hard to fathom how we think the existing squad will bridge a 23 point gap to City where they have strengthened and I will honestly say Pool seriously worry me this year; they have done the right business.

I can see the risk in terms of injury etc so can see why clubs would do it but the way they signed Kieta (someone they clearly earmarked as wanting at all costs) is an interesting one.

Lots of Disgruntleds from Tunbridge Wells out in force, together with Fewmins from St. Albans.

Let's save the pitchforks for 48 hours' time shall we? Please?

We all know all of you would do a better job. We all know you've played at least two or three different football games and it's worked on those so why shouldn't it work in real life. We all know you know 40 times more than multi-millionaire successful businesspeople.

But can you please tell us in 48 hours' time? When it's actually come to pass?
