If it's Levy's fault Poch is upset by dicking around with agreed deals at the last minute, then he NEEDS to change his approach. If he doesn't, we will get left behind by clubs that, you know, stick to agreements.

Cant see him changing.

The Goat's info all sounds completely plausible to me. But then again, who knows, might just be agents sturring things up.

Not really surprising. He can't help himself, can he.

He does it with every single manager and, finally, he has remarkably found this amazing manager who buys into the club's vision and he still wants to mess around.

If this is true, then that's incredible short termism from Levy.

Ok, we might save a few pennies now, but if we lose Poch and the players next summer and subsequently fall back down the league then what the hell was the point?" He certainly won't have 40k season ticket holders if we're shit, he's totally deluded if he thinks that.

The goats itk doesn't make sense given Levy spunked 30m on
Sissoko...

But taking that as an outlier, it's not difficult to believe the itk. It's no wonder other chairmen hate him, there's good and bad to it.

He didnt spunk anywhere near £30m on Sissoko. Its a structured payment, of which has probably cost below £10m so far

Harry Redknapp left Portsmouth broken.

Still they won the FA cup.

It's not a case of Poch says "jump" and Levy says "how high?" but it's plainly obvious that the club has drastically moved forward under Pochettino and we have to keep him happy.

Levy is a clever guy. He's going to know that.

I've always thought the Sissoko last minute transfer was in part to keep the manager happy by signing another player.

If Levy ruins what we have created due to penny pinching the backlash from the fans will be so huge I don't think he'd be able to continue as chairman.

Trix rated this Winner so clearly he's saying we don't have any sort of price agreed for Barkley.

What do any of us really know? Verbal agreements (if so) would count as an offer. But what would i know anyway. I believe Goats info, along with the other ITK's. Just that they are not all going to be 100% right, though their info was 100%.

Well to be honest I think all of us would feel the same if we where in poch shoes.

Time for the bold man to step up. Evolve.

Just to placate a few. These are bits from COYS after A&Cs posts last night:

Ali Z:
TBH this comes as a shock to me nothing I have heard hints at anything meltdown style.

Edmonton: I wonder if it is just Walker to a rival or they have picked up on some agent gossip. Spoken to a few people this week and although they have no obligation to say anything there was no hint of bad news coming from the club.

If Poch leaves because Levy has fucked him around, I don't think I could get over it for a long time.

Poch is the reason the team is playing so well, the reason why the club has been at it's most harmonious for decades and the reason why the fans and the team are so in love and together.

Levy has struck gold with Poch and if he screws it up as the ITK is suggesting, the bond with the fans would break to the point of being irrecoverable for him.

Meanwhile somewhere in deepest darkest north London, Levy's ear has just instantaneously combusted.

Like pretty much all transfers.

I don't understand why this nonsense about the magic Soldado payment structure still gets an airing.

I guess it depends on which ITK's you trust more. I trust Trix as he always has very good information, so if he says there's no agreement in place for fee then I believe him.

It's worth remembering that A&C had to word it carefully to not get the source in trouble which intimates that the source is a strong one.

That is plain rubbish. He along with Lewis owns the club so he is Chairman for as long as he wants the job.

Yeah I assumed that is what Trix is referring to as well. Thing is there have been more recent reports throwing the £25m figure around and with the one year left (and them getting Klaassen in for a similar fee) it could still have weight. For comparison Wanyama was £11m last summer in similar circumstances. This sort of thing is probably one where it's going to happen after they have done their business, so is kept quiet and on the back burner. Could see this one going through after Rooney is done, or if they get Sigurdsson over the line.
