Congrats - didn't see anyone having a medical did you?

I wouldn't put it past Levy, his young player scouting network must be in overdrive under Poch.......now we know why we have those bleeding 'Turfies' :cyclops:

After seeing what everyone else is gonna be doing. I really think we need to make this window count with the lure of champions league for what it's worth. Last time we got vdv but even then we didn't make the most of it. But if we only get Jansen then I'd trust poch a hell of a lot more than old arry when it comes to transfers that's the right move

really hope this isn't the only move we made for a striker, really don't think he is good enough to transform us. believe we will still get a Michy though
Do we need transforming? What we need is refining. A young hungry striker like Janssen would sharpen us up in the striking department no end. Feel like the first time in ages we don't need overhaul in a transfer window. young dynamic players like this is the way forward imo. Just keep us fresh.

Janssen at the prices mooted has Levy written all over it. Looks a perfect understudy to Kane. Have to say I'd much rather Batshuayi however has he offers something a bit different. Signing Batshuayi and Janssen doesn't make as much sense either as neither is really a WF option unlike Lacazette or Embolo.

Do we need another player who can play up top and in the AM? We already have Son and N'Jie. We need at least 1 striker.

Janssen is an option by the sounds of the itk. Doesnt mean he's our top choice right now.

We've got one of the best strikers in Europe playing centre forward for us. It's very hard to get someone in to play second fiddle to him. From what I've seen and read he sounds ideal as an alternative to Kane.

Also, to get him in for pre season as he's not at the euros is another plus.

Fee agreed and player in London suggests it's pretty advanced.

Bats > Janssen for me. I'd be happy with us getting two strikers so we are stacked there but we'd ideally need them to be more versatile.

I'm just not convinced by N'Jie, and I'm not sure the club is either.

Maybe they thought to get a relatively cheap back up and spend the 30m on a wide forward/striker like Lacazette...

Janssen and Lacazette is better then just Batman
