If he failed the medical, one would presume he failed it for a reason  I'd expect us to at least give him a very thorough one!

Seems to have been playing alright for Blackburn. It's the rest of the team that's the problem.

Genius. SAF hears 'Pool, us and the Arse in for him, so wins the auction then says he's failed his medical, leaving lingering doubts for the others. Genius.

no I don't genuinely think that's what he's done!

BBC Radio Lancashire claim that #Rovers defender Phil Jones has failed #MUFC medical #BRFC

It was because he didn't have enough genital warts. All of the other United players have bell ends like the surface of the moon, the medical staff at Old Trafford mistook his lack of sexually transmitted diseases to be a lack of physical prowess.

I meant heir to the throne in the physios room  Can't think of many 19 y/o players failing medicals?

I personally remember being when Hartson and Andy Hinchcliffe failed theirs with us :)

That's very quick to fail. Even if United were Milan, who have a complex set of tests that is unrivaled, it would take more time to figure out many issues. If he failed a test this quickly, I imagine its knee or back issues.

Do you think he would be much of an improvement on Jamie O'Hara though?

I would pain me to see O'Hara let go and us sign Adam.

I always wanted to see O'Hara given a proper run in the team as I felt he had that fighting quality, would die for the shirt and as above has a quality left peg.

Most folk on here see some value in Jamie O'Hara...but, as been pointed out innumerable times, he just plain isn't good enough to displace anyone in our midfield (a victim of his own versatility, perhaps), but was plum not happy to be a squad player - which is the best he could ever hope for with versatility and only limited quality. You have to let it go.

And when I say 'limited quality' we are comparing him to, say, Modric, or Bale, or Sandro.

Even if he did fail the medical, they'll still buy him, probably a bit cheaper. Unless they've found cancer in his cock or something.

Because I think he'd be an excellent candidate to take over here next year.

Oh and for the Phil Jones stuff ..

For those asking re Phil Jones #MUFC deal, he's just arrived at England U21 camp and he's in high spirits. "Rumour" appears to be rubbish

i think he is a little over rated. although his football principles are to be admired, its a results business. He has been on the end of some shocking results.

Doing no better a job than say Paul Jewell or Steve Bruce. They both kept Wigan in the top filght as well. In fact in 2006 I think they finished top half and league cup runners up

You really have to wonder what kind of player could fail a medical conducted by expert medical team who gave Owen Hargreaves a big "thumbs up"..?

Oh do be quiet, Captain Hyperbole. How about waiting to see who we actually sign rather than who we're linked to before spouting such a torrent of guff? It's beyond daft making posts like that at the beginning of the second week of June.

No you be qeuit, its not about if we sign them , its about if thats our tragets !! as they as poor poor players, enough to get in top 4?? no i dont think so, no ambition what so ever.

But we don't even know if the ITK is real (no offense to whoever posted it). Sacking Harry just because of some ITK you don't like does seem a bit harsh.
