Do you think that Yedlin would be exempted for talent HS?

If it wasn't for his WC performance I don't think he'd get exempted. Another US player of the same age, but with better stats vs better club competition (Juan Agudelo) had his appeal denied last year.

While we are debunking.

The home office rules regarding players visas is that they play 75% of their countries competitive internationals (as long as the country is in the top 70) over the past two years. The US has played 38 matches since September 2012. 24 of these have been competitive matches via WC, WCQ or Gold Cup. While his 9 matches might seem valid, only 3 of those would count as friendlies are not considered competitive. Thus he has played 3 of the last 24 matches for the US, which is 12% and well below the 75% necessary.

And so, if he is rejected, which he most certainly will be, it isn't the UK being Anti-American. It's just that England understands maths better. So it is a ridiculous statement, even for an extremist, such as yourself, to negatively predict and then use said prediction to call a country prejudice. Not unexpected mind you. Just ridiculous.

The rule has snagged many good players from many countries including Joel Campell, Wilfred Bony, David Ruiz, Chicarito, Sessegnon, Oscar and.....let me see.....oh yeah.....Sandro.

But, they all appealed and were granted exceptional talent exemptions. You know who else used this loophole? Brek Shea, Tim Ream and Geoff Cameron, who are all American and none of which deserve an exemption.

In fact, the people that have been rejected for exceptional talent have proven that the panel has a fairly good eye for talent.

In your haste to be a victim, you forgot to do your due diligence.
Meanwhile Cameron is starting for Stoke.

Yedlin can get or may even already have a European passport from Latvia.

Speaking of debunking and due diligence, reports are the kids mom is Latvian, so he can get a Latvian passport and not need a WP at all.

Not sure about this. His mother is from Seattle. he was raised by his grandparents as she had him very young. They are Latvian. But the rules are that she would have to be Latvian. And I think she was born in Seattle. So hopefully somebody can clarify. Hopefully I am wrong too.

If the grandparents are both Latvian, I am pretty sure under their rules she (Yedlin's mom) is Latvian - or eligible for a passport, and then by extension Yedlin would be eligible.

Who knows for sure though?

He will not automatically get a WP, and will have a tough time getting the exceptional talent waiver - particularly by January. SO, I think the only way this happens is if he gets a Latvian passport - which is maybe why the delay, as Levy and his lawyers confirm one way or the other how likely that is.

If Carlsberg did off seasons.......

Whilst we may yet sign some class players you'd have to go a long way back ( if even possible) when we could better last summer in particular the spectacular week when we signed 4 players in a week including Lamela

Yea but you failed to mention we lost Bale, this year we have managed to have our best players sign new contracts. This for me is what makes this window so good.
