Anyone else feel like this is a dream? Like, I cannot actually believe we haven't signed a player, or are even close to signing a player, with just over 17 hours to go until the deadline.

It’s crazy. I’m usually pretty level headed but even i’m considering burning my BsoDL yearly subscription tand joining the dark side at 5pm tomorrow

It's been an unmitigated disaster up to this point and yet it seemingly can get even worse should Toby, Dembele and indeed now Rose leave with no likely incomings close whatsoever.

- Only club in the top 5 leagues yet to sign anyone
- Christ knows what has happened to all the new extended contract deals given to our star players - sure they'll be most encouraged with our ambitious summer spending
- Taking the gloss off what should be a hugely exciting season in our new stadium amidst a backdrop of growing unrest at how the board is backing our best manager in decades.

Fuck knows what the fallout from all this will be should it come to pass the above but tin hats at the ready....

I get the waiting to the last few days as Trix said, players are now way cheaper as clubs want the prem money, but we know full well it won’t amount to anything as the prices are still to high. I just don’t think Levy will pay out big time for anyone without knowing he is able to claw it back from over pricing our dead wood. I hope the fall out with Toby turns out to be a bloody good one also. All seems very play ground fall out to me. Jesus. Sign some quality ffs.

The richest club in the league though, and they've only managed to sign that one player by taking over a year to do so. That should be a hint as to how difficult it is. Plenty of people have been excessively negative since the window opened, and the damn thing still hasn't closed.

Have city been trying and failing, though, or is Pep perhaps happy with his squad?

Then we'll truly be able to say Lessons has been learnt

Even when the itk was flowing we signed no one.. So lets hope that the reason they are quiet now is because of some of the itk they issued earlier is coming to a big fat fuckin crescendo?
