Agreed, but the word proven is where you’re most likely be disappointed. I just hope people don’t confuse the words proven and good, because there are several examples in our squad where unproven has still made a very good instant impact.

I purposely chose proven as I want us to sign someone established with experience. A good age, 23/24 plus. Not a kid.

Unless it's back to Fulham for a romantic return there I don't understand why we'd sell him to another Premier League team.

Because they have offered a good amount and also offered decent wages to Mousa I'm guessing.

We’ve accepted a bid from a Premier League club for Dembele.

I think it's a good idea to sell Dembele now. He is passed his best and struggles with the demands of the PL now. Last season he declined badly from the season before. He still put in a handful of great performances at times but my general opinion was he struggled overall.

No it doesn’t. But Trix ITK said “don’t count anything out INCLUDING Martial” which would suggest there’s still a chance we can get Martial.

How do you see any deal for Martial?
1) us paying United £50mill plus?
2) it being part of a deal involving Toby

Thing is, context is required here. Could be Wolves coming in and offering £20m, which we would obviously say yes to. Dembele would be the one to laugh them out of sight though.

The Goat's info has come from multiple sources who've all independently heard the same thing (or variations on it, "bid made" vs "bid accepted", etc). That normally doesn't happen unless it's fairly advanced and a lot of people are involved in it.

Will be very sad to see him go as he's mighty on his day. Equally sad to see him in physical decline. Upside is it must surely mean we have a decent replacement lined up that just needs funding.....
