Have to agree with this. Our so called special relationship with Madrid has never been anything more than them treating us as a feeder club and stripping us of our best players while at the same time selling to our main rival and not us. Screw Madrid.

Isco is a legit unreal talent, would be an instant fan favourite for sure and a perfect replacement if Eriksen had to go (as utterly painful as that would be). We'd probably need a deeper passer however.
But we've been down this road with Madrid before, and it's never good (aside from VDV, although that was basically us giving them money for a discarded player).

If Madrid get a new boss, big possibility Isco will want to stay, then he has played us again

It sounds like there maybe some wheels in motion behind the scenes and if Eriksen wants to go there is not much we can do but it won't be good news regardless of how it plays out IMO.
Maybe we are after Isco now in January, with an agreed fee for Eriksen in the summer?
I suppose this would strengthen us for the rest of the season on the run in...

I really can't see Isc'o'-the-wisp ending up with us. Computer says "no chance in hell" for umpteen cross-referenced oft discussed reasons over several seasons.

We have more than an interest in Isco. They have more than a very strong interest in Eriksen. The equations you can work out for yourself
Surely the only way we get Isco is some sort of swap deal. Otherwise City or whoever will just outbid us.

JJ has suggested that Isco to us is something that is unlikely to happen. And JJ is the last word in ITK info for me.So...
