We've actually got some ITK to go over this morning, Zippady Doo-Dah!

First off a question: How did cinderlella know she got to the ball ?

She gagged.

Here on SC opensaysme told us that we were..........
Who: Mystery
When: 08/06/11
Where: SC

Ello,

Been a while, been busy at the office!

Gervinho - As already floating around, he's definately coming to the EPL, sorry to disappoint you but it's not going to be us.

Downing - We are interested, but only if Lennon is offloaded, which isn't looking likely, however if he does, we will launch a bid for him.

Hazard - No news on him.

Parker - As everyone is already posting it, it's still on the cards I guess

Leandro - Our officials will be meeting with his agent in the next day or so to discuss personal terms, you can put your house on it that Leandro will be spurs player next season.

Adam - We're interested, again.
Yeah, i'm busy too so thats a bollocks excuse

Which makes four pieces of ITK, ALL posted here on SC first!

Spurs Community, your hub for all things ITK, why would you go anywhere else? And with that in mind, why haven't you donated yet? Yes, you. Everythime I ask for donations you think 'i'll do it in aminute' and end up forgetting. Well it's time to cough up. Don't make me send Oddie around with his gimp mask and bag of dildos.

I'm confused on the Eriksen info. I thought another poster on here said that he was in Denmark yesterday and had heard a rumour...

Entirely separate?

Better not be interested in Adam!!! if randy lerner can bow to fan power over steve mclaren then levy and redknapp should...Charlie Adam is shittttt!! and why are we not going after players like llorente instead of drogba thats only got a few years left....i hope levy stands firm and tells redknapp that the players he wants will take us backward

Agree with the Adam part but if you think signing Drogba would be a step backwards over a player (Llorente) who has never played in the premiership, so could take a year to settle, then i despair!

Drogba and Leandro = :hump:

Eriksen is Danish, and he was linked on the BBC Gossip page today with a move to Chelski so I think that one's a non runner. Qulity round up again A&C

another update on Downing... He is rated very highly by Harry and the coaching staff and we are definitely after him. He wouldn't be a replacement for Bale as they believe him and Bale could form a great partnership on the left and he has also been very impressive for Villa this season on the right hand side so provides competition for Lennon. Downing wants to come but he is one of Liverpool's top targets and they could easily offer him more wages than us...watch this space

I don't think Charlie Adam is shit (I do think he is a shit for the Bale tackle though) , but I also don't think we need him. Good at set pieces, but I think we have players in the squad with a better all round game, so no thanks.

Drogba would be great for us. A player that I have never liked for his antics on the pitch, but he would certainly get us goals.

I actually have that feeling too, today or funtime friday!

A proper Frankie-style funtime friday would be the unravelling of our new blue and yellow strikeforce of Falcao and Leandro :hump:

That would send a message out to the Premier League! But we never seem to send messages out; just little notes written in semaphore.

Drogba is a great player and he will undoubtedly score goals... the question is, is he worth it for 1 (maybe 2) season(s)?

Is it not worth it more to bring a longer term prospect if you could, someone like Llorente for example or Falcao?

I personally rate Drogba very highly, agree his onfield antics are questionable at times, but he is a real proven goal scorer at the highest level and maybe that 1 season of goals gets us back into the top 4 and back to being able to attract the top players.

Whilst wages is an issue for a lot of top players, there are ways and means around this if the board is willing, up-front signing on fees, % wage increases, appearance bonuses... it's not all about the published figure.

I believe this window could be an odd one... Friedel is already an example of how we might see a few odd-ball experienced signings sprinkled with maybe a marquee signing or two and I think that makes the most sense.

I think a few people on here believe we should go out and sgn only superstars, well that's not how it works and is totally unrealistic... even Man UTD etc don't do this.

You get the most out of your marquee players by also signing the slightly less fashionable ones who are prepared to graft and/or add the right level-headedness.

We all cheared at Klinsman, the return of Shreringham, Davids... experienced winners who were past their prime but added guile, steel or simply a winning mentality. Again, I would say Man UTD are a perfect example this season how you can still win the PL even with an only above average squad.

Players who know how to win and get the job done. We need those as much as we need the Hot prospects!
