Heh, I got banned over there because I said I could easily imagine Archway setting their own steelworks alight, I didn't accuse them of it, just said I could imagine it. It was instaban and then some snide email asking why I thought I was above the rules, apparently having an opinion is a banworthy offence.
I got banned for not cleaning my nails before typing a post.

I got banned pretty quickly after joining because I said I didn't believe any of the Lennon loves the club and only cares about the club bs, and that I thought he was just another high wage theif. As you alluded too, you can't have an opinion over there, something I can't stand.

The irony is you can't say bad things about the players but it's open season on Levy, after every loss there'd be a huge backlash against Levy but if you blame the players at all, oops ban for you.

Quick comparison
Height 1.87 m, Weight 81 kg
Toby Alderweireld, Height and weight

Kevin Wimmer 1.87 and 85kg

Height 1.90 m, Weight 87 kg
Younès Kaboul,

Height 1.89 m, Weight 79 kg
Jan Vertonghen,

Height 1.95 m, Weight 90 kg
Federico Fazio, Height and weight

Height 1.88 m, Weight 63 kg
Eric Dier, Height and weight

Height 1.90 m, Weight 88 kg
Nemanja Vidić, Height and weight

Height 1.89 m, Weight 87 kg
Rio Ferdinand, Height and weight

Height 1.87 m, Weight 90 kg
John Terry, Height and weight

Height 1.93 m, Weight 83 kg
Vincent Kompany, Height and weight

Strange Belgian guys are leaner
Dier can't be 63 kg though at that height. A thumbs rule is height subtracted by 110, so in his case roughly 188-110=78

You can add a few kilos of muscle to that since these boys are fit, so maybe 83 kg is correct? Some site had him at 190 pounds, 86 kg.

If we break this down logically with what we know, it should narrow it down a bit.

We know:
The ITK comes from JJ.
That signing Alderweireld means we won't get one of the players, so they are eithe a CB or play for Southampton.
The other player has only been guessed 5 or less times (at the time of A&C's post).
They either come from the same club or have the same agent. I don't think "grocer" means Nationality, as it suggests it's to do with place of purchase (agents loosely fit in here).

JJ has also previously said, that as well as a CB, we are also after a DM that and at least 1 forward and that 2 players have potential to be "bums of seat players" that we are looking at outside of the PL. He has also said we are not interested in Clasie.

I can't think of any realistic DM's that could be "bums of seat players", so I think it is safe to assume that this is either 2 forwards or a forward and a winger/wide forward.

As the 2 exciting players are from out side the PL, this rules out it being someone like Mirallas.

I think the only way it can be McCarthy is if Stones was the other target and I'm pretty sure I have seen heaps of people guess him anyway. I have seen Kramer & Son named numerous times, so it can't be any of these.

So what CB's have we been linked to? Bartra, Evans, Abdennour anyone else?

If one cabbage is Evans, then Chicharito or Januzaj are possible form his club.
If one is Bartra, then Pedro or Sergi Roberto are possible form his club.
Bartra and Evans have the same agent/agency that also looks after PEA, Morata, Insigne, Mario Suarez and Adam Maher.

Has anyone even guessed any of the above, as A&C suggests at least someone has?

In conclusion, I don't have a f*@king clue.

I think it being mentioned before about McCarthy and Evans both being Irish (same grocer) and Evans being a disappointing signing that was then sacked off due to the Alderweireld signing sounds most likely to me now tbh.

They are not both from the same country though (one form Northern Island and one from the Republic), so that is a tenuous link at best. It would be like saying an Englishman and a Scotsman were "from the same grocer" and at least they would both be British.

Also, I'm sure I have seen McCarthy guessed a lot, so unless A&C has 20 fingers on one hand (possible) I don't think it is him.

I missed the part about a disappointing signing, what was said exactly?

Edit: Surely if both players were Irish, A&C would have said Potatoes and not Cabbages?

Potatoes would have been a bit obvious I reckon. I think it was Rob that said one of the cabbages was good and one would be a disappointment. And yeah I know that's the only flaw in it with them being from different part of Ireland. I just haven't personally been convinced be a different theory yet tbh.

I'm pretty sure the 'cabbage' part is nonsense from the mind of A&C, and it's just about players from the same club (and keeping the spam down).
