The largest amount in the history of students? So about a fiver?

And £50k in debt.

If Foyth is the incoming suggested this week by the ITK, then I note that Poch seems to be driving the actual transfer dealings, with Veron speaking directly with him.

We play them on the 9th September so him not having a preseason with us would actually be good for them, as he might not be fully ready to face them

Ahh but he could work undercover and give us some useful intel. Failing that he could just kick Rooney in the nuts.

Everton ITKs seem to think that he is reconsidering after agreeing to come to us

If Barkley really is reconsidering it shows to me that some players put as much stock in transfers as the majority of fans and the media do, regardless of their excellent spending I still have Everton as the outsiders in the top 4 race after losing their star man.

To play for Spurs in the CL, with some established top performers and a top manager who wants him (and hasn't been clashing with him all season) seems a no brainer, especially as the manager he has a rocky history with has now stacked Ross' position at Everton.

The Barkley deal has never been dependant on them getting replacements. It's just a financial thing with both sides waiting to see who blinks first, and every day he gets closer to leaving for nothing. I haven't had an update for a couple of days but I'd say it's wishfull thinking on the Everton ITK front. Things were far from good between Barkley and Ronnie last I heard.

Thats what I was hoping to be honest.

My only other fear is we wait for blinks and someone else comes in (Mancity or Chelsea) and just gets the deal done

That's cool, giving Levy another reason to knock a bit off the price.

Logic would suggest that this is Foyth, but we all know that it's apparently close and I don't think many are that bothered about it, so would he really be the player JJ is referring to?

It's gonna be Pau or Foyth, you just know it!
