How long until every Juventus player and every capped South American over the age of 27 is named in this thread.

(Do you think Breezer incorrectly counts Mexico as South America...? As that would give us even more names to guess at...)

Anyone think Levy is bidding on unobtainable players to keep the fans happy and to show we're trying? Almost feels like an owner of a minor club playing at the Olympic stadium.

No, because we haven't leaked it to the media like they would do.

In terms of the itk we are playing Juve in a preseason friendly soon. Quite a good time to chat about players.

Juve have bought Bentacur,Benatia, Caudrado, Schick, & close to buying Matuidi, Costa, Bernadeschi, Aurier.
Juve want to sell these players : Lemina, Rincon, Lichtsteiner, Asamoah & Sturaro.
If there is reluctance to do the deal, I would assume its not from list who are likely to be sold.

Wasn't Poch quoted a few weeks back about how much he likes Cuardrado? could be him. hopefully not though
South American and Juventus. Very experienced (ie. over the top). Would be beyond underwhelming.

Plausible. Levy has done that before (to keep managers, not fans, happy).

Interesting how Breezer mentioned two players, for a second I was convinced it would be Cuadrado as he would fit into both but in fact that would now rule him out.

"Beyond amazed" strikes me as one of their better players though so i'd go for Kean, Pjanic, Rugani or Khedira. Surely we wouldn't even bother with the likes of Higuain, Sandro, Dybala, Bonucci, Chiellini etc

Hmm. Very experienced South American.

Mascherano, Cavani, Rafinha, Diego, Dani Alves, Suarez hmmm

I mean most of these don't seems believable or viable. I would have thought it wasn't Dani Alves as that has already been very public

Could the South American be Douglas Costa?

This may be a shout, but Lucas Moura?? He barely gets run at PSG and I would say he is rather experienced...

EDIT: See it was "VERY experienced"...so most likely not. But he would add pace and directness, which seems to be something we bang on about year in and year out.

Don't think Costa would fall under 'very experienced' personally. Still only 26 and although he has experience I'm not sure you'd use that moniker to describe him.

Perhaps we are seeking the release of Javier Zanetti from his club duties at Inter as we want his experience to replace Walker haha

'Very experienced' would indicate to me that the player is either

A) 28 years old or over. Even then 28 might be too young
B) and or highly capped at international level

Considering Wimmer's future is doubtful then perhaps the ITK suggests that we would likely target one of Juve's trio at the back with Barzagli at 36 by far the most feasible/attainable with Bonucci just a dream.

Obviously short term fix but a wise head at the back who's comfortable in a three that could make sense.

I'd love it if it was Hector Herrera. Great player and he would give us the scariest midfield in the premiership with his orc-like visage.

Surely its got to be Hernandez?

Not sure about the Juventus player. We must be serious if we've got someone out there though.
