Best part of convo is someone asking JJ if the signings this summer will make a significant improvement on our first team and his reply was - Yeah definitely this season.

If Levy is such a great negotiator the current situation should present an opportunity to ensure that we make top 4 next season. Current players and prospective new recruits should be made aware that in a couple of seasons they will running out in front of 60000 fans in one of the best stadiums in Europe. At that point we should be able to compete financially with the top clubs. I guess this is why we are focussed on young, up and coming players who will grow with the project. There is no need to sell our best players, we should be adding quality, and telling United to do one.

No surprise really. Time for Levy to accept a loss and let some of these players go. Can't expect to break even or make profit on every sale.

We should be able to get rid of Holtby, Lennon and Carroll easy enough. That will be about 1/3 of the job done
