I think it means an out and out striker like Ade and Soldado, not Martial who can play out wide as well or why would we have bid on Ings?

First half of last season he was our best player. I wouldn't give up on him yet.

I haven't given up on him. Personally I think he's best in a free role from the left. He's clearly a gifted player.

However he also has a habit of disappearing from games that has persisted throughout his career.

Personally I'd prefer Lamela in the 10 role, and Eriksen on the left...or even further back in a 433.

So does "He turned down the move" imply that the club accepted and gave him the decision?

I think (like any player) he would be entitled to know if a bid came in for home from any club.

The fact that if it did, from man Ure and for that amount i would guess that Man Ure will come back with another ten or twelve million. I cannot see them not coming back with an improved offer.

They fucking know the true value of a twenty goals a season striker and if they can blow what they did on Falcao then fifty million is very small chicken shit feed indeed.
