Eriksen 'doesn't fancy the Mancs unless it's Citeh'. Thought he had more class than to look in their direction. They're owned and financed by filth.
And pay big wages and win shit loads of trophies. Easy to occupy the moral high ground, when you have zero chance to reap the rewards.

And play for Guardiola. Utd I can see an argument against currently, but not City.

Wouldn't be too upset if Eriksen went to City, he isn't a game changer for them given the talent they already have and I imagine Levy would have a 50 million pound prem tax ontop of what he is already demanding. It'd suck if he went to a prem rival but at least he'd going be going where we'd make the most money and he'd make the least change.

Well yeah out of all the PL rivals, going to City would be the most palatable, but we’d basically be like Arsenal ( and something that we as Spurs fans regularly looked down on them for).

It’s like deciding which bloke you’d be happy for your missus to have an affair with.

We shouldn’t sell him a rival, no matter the price. If he really wants to go to a Juve, but we have to accept a fair bit less then so be it.

Eriksen should be made to understand that selling to a rival is not on the agenda.

Yeah I agree with what you're saying but I'd be able to stomach it as-long as we got a stupid fee and we went above and beyond during the transfer window, which is what Arsenal never did in their case. I agree this would be my least favourite option of what happens with Eriksen though, first being new deal and 2nd being letting him go abroad.

We have alot of work to do this week to get signings complete before we return to pre-season. Need our main targets in first day.

He only gave that caveat because Eriksen himself has said that he's only looking for a step up.

And, sometimes I pinch myself for remembering this (and that CE said it himself), there are only a handful clubs a step up from us currently.

Ali Z on coys is saying that we don’t see Ceballos as a priority.

“Whilst he maybe on a list he is nowhere near the top according to what I hear........ he has been on the radar before as have numerous others that we are linked with but I would certainly not see him as a priority.”

Nice to hear we have a plan B even though I'm feeling decent about our two Plan A's.

Also Ali z re Eriksen signing a new contract, if he doesn’t get his move to Madrid:

“Yes I do, if he can't get what he wishes for, I believe he will.”

“especially as there is a lack of real interest in him currently.”
