Agree with this. Rather get in Dembele on the cheap, or even some sort of swap for one of many fringe players, and then spunk the rest into some striker(s).
Would hate to bust the bank for Moutinho and neglecting out striker situation!

Saw these a bit earlier. So we got out bid for Oscar, can't afford Moutinho, Sahin don't want to know us/we dont want, M'Vila we have ruled ourselves out of the running now and Allen gone to the grief junkies, who are we gonna get to replace Modric now? 2 weeks to go till the window shuts, I hope Villas-Boas has got someone decent lined up as I am now starting to worry a bit.

Well I don't know it as absolute certainty. But was told this from a pretty reliable source. We also approached Modric's agent to give them the same deal but wasn't to be. But i'm fairly certain but don't take it as gospel that Bale is at or slightly over the 100k mark.
No offence but I would think there are very few people who know what gareth bale earns and those few people are unlikely to go around broadcasting it.

Looks like the ITKs who said Dawson is on his way out were wrong. Don't see why he would make Dawson captain if he was then to get rid:

i Have put all I know on the latest with the Sahin saga in his thread in case anyone is interested about him. In short if he is going to Spurs, Levy has done almost as good a job as LFC did with the player we just bought in terms of his signing not getting out to anyone.
