I just can't get excited about that. We were complaining about squad depth at the end of season...we filled a gap upfront not replaced it. We strengthened in DM - Nice. We've signed a unproven to replace 4 attacking players with English top flight experience.

Well fact is, total PL minutes played by Bentaleb, Pritchard, Chadli, Njie, Yedlin last season = 165 + 0 + 933 + 184 + 0 = 1282 (14 matches bits & pieces). Townsend alredy a goner last Jan.

Mason will be the biggest miss; I believe Poch is trying to promote Winks as his replacement. He looked very good in preseason. Hope he has a good season for us.

Poch said he wanted a direct Mane like player - Nkoudou is the one ? Dont think so. Squad depth wise, I believe we are slightly better than last year considering the people who left hardly played for us. Problem is we failed to get a marquee player who could have improved the XI.
