I wonder what input Hugo had on all this. Hard to believe Poch/Levy wouldn't have asked him about Sissoko, in particular his temperament and attitude. Presumably it was a thumbs up.

Ian Dennis on BBC called this earlier than anyone. Sky coverage crap.

The good times for football won't last forever. Influx of money into Premier League is madness.

That transfer makes the difference to the squad. We could still do with a bit more creativity but overall the squad has better balance and more pace.

Net spend or money spent doesn't bother me either way, but not having obvious flaws in the squad does. Fingers crossed we can start playing some good football now!

Regardless of the fees - it seems quite obvious that Poch wanted a couple of pacey counter attacking options for difficult CL away games and possibly taking on the likes of Pep and Jose.

In Nkoudou and Sissoko he's now got a couple of players who can get up the pitch quickly.

Slightly concerned about how delighted the Newcastle fans are to see him go. Dont think Everton fans are that down about it either...

If anything I think this has proved that Levy will back a guy he trusts, I don't think we'll be seeing much talk of Levy making fake bids to appease Poch anymore.

Poor reason to buy a player. So what role is he going to play? I don't see he adds anything at best just a back up player when we are looking for players who would improve us ... or I am anyway
Love how people who never post and say anything love giving negative ratings. Do that but say something you might have some light to shed on the situation for me!

Our midfield is actually rather powerful with Dier, Dembele, Wanyama and Sissoko. No longer the soft touch of old.

On the whole, shipped a few squad players, brought in Dier, Kane and Dembele cover, upgraded 3rd keeper and an upgrade(?) on N'Jie.

I actually think we had a good window. One top class creator away IMO.

I guess another swinging '10 inch alpha dick' in the changing room can't be a bad thing..
