Same old shit! Full of expectation... nothing happens... Aurier is decent. But so was Walker. Llorente is a 32 year old.... decent back up but hardly gonna win us the league. I dont understand. The thing i am so worried about is that Poch is actually pissed off with Levy and leaves. He is the best thing to happen to us in decades.

Stupid decision again by Levy to save some money but in end will cost us as a club I'm sure...!

We lose him in Jan to another club, come summer Poch will go to PSG and we are back to square one... I hope when this new stadium comes things change or he needs to fuck off!

Had enough of the depressing way he manages windows and we never learn, he lives off the VDV moment.... we may have strengthened but missed the key areas AGAIN, and its the same story every window..

Key areas ? We missed one attacking squad player ?

Sissoko and GKN will be fine options off the bench against Real Madrid. Ridiculous. I can understand waiting for RB price to drop, but that doesn't excuse the lack of a player in the AM that Poch can trust. I don't really get that after all the positive ITK.

Rest of the window has been very good, our defense must surely be the best in the league.

Chelsea might be given an extra fee hours to complete Drinkwater deal, wish we request the same and got Barkley done.

Ally Gold says we're not doing anymore business though.

Phil McNulty:
Ross Barkley's transfer to Chelsea was all but done. The fee was agreed between £30m and £35m and personal terms had been settled. He was conducting his medical when his agent contacted Everton to say he had changed his mind and wanted to reconsider his options in January. He won't be playing much before December anyway and I'm sure it will be revisited in the New Year.

It certainly is a strange situation.

Seems he's heading to us in Jan.

Unless we pissed chelsea off to the point they reoffer 35m
I think its safe to say by Ross's actions, he wants to join the mighty Spurs. Everton have lost out playing silly buggers trying to teach him a lesson and he will leave Jan or June next year for a pittance. More fool them. I will welcome him as a player wishing to play and not just to earn the coin.

I, for one, totally understand why we don't buy an injured player - Barkley is pretty injury prone - Good his day but not great. Check out how long it has taken Lamela to recover from his hip problem. Why spend 30million on an injured player?
No panic. I love and prefer Harry Winks!
Too many people wish we just buy buy buy - We've bought well. IMO we could have done with a Zaha, Martial or similar forward player with pace - or MoPo thinks N'Kou can do that job and Lamela will be back soon.

When we knew we wernt getting Gomes we got over to Barkleys camp and said were coming for you in Jan. Barkley wants us so much he u-turns on Chelsea to wait for us ... Its a fairy tale stuff chaps.

Possibly, but only if it has a happy ending. There's a real risk that we miss out on him in Jan, and you know it'll be Jan 31st if we get him at all.

It's a net positive window but it could have been an excellent one
