Albeit ultimately realistic, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat gutted we aren't shipping out Llorente and replacing him with someone more suited to our style.

Despite him being past it, our reluctance to change our style doesnt help him. Still, let's get behind him and hope he comes good

We have enquired about a few options tbh. Problem in January is that clubs can't get replacements and just refuse to even negotiate. Can't blame them, and pushing things could end up having repercussions in the next window. We just have to accept January for what it is. Very difficult. Pretty much every high profile move that happens in January, happens because the player has some associated baggage, which makes the deal easier as far as the selling club is concerned.



This however, doesn't need debating in this thread, I'm just trying to shed some light on why it's always quiet.

Agree. This is how AFC got PEA otherwise it is near impossible to get a club's best player in January. IMO this is why Moura was always more likely deal in Jan than Malcom. Malcom is Bordeux best player, Moura is surplus to requirements at PSG.

It would have to have been the closest nearly completed transfer in history for it to go tits up now. Even by our standards.

Would love it if we can tie down Malcom for the summer transfer or at least have some sort of gentlemens agreement.

Got a feeling come summer it will be a battle to sign him.

There are some real fuckwits around. Those that may not like to receive a negative rating and then go back and retrospectively find some of your posts and start giving them back. Quite funny really. :rolleyes:
