Is this plays out with no signings I hope to see something come out from Poch giving his blessings.

If not you gotta think he will be off with a fair few players going with him as most of the players really are behind him.

Still hoping we can get someone that Poch wants

They're a pretty self entitled bunch though. They have actually signed a class CM that would improve our midfield, and you know if an opportunity presents itself today that they will chuck big money at it to get it done...

And you think we're not?

So Poch, who by his own admission is ambitious and wants to win trophies in the here and now, has decided the best way to do this is too pitch in academy kids...that is certainly by his definition brave and definitely a little crazy...

Considering VY is closest to the top table than anyone, I don’t get why he’s constantly ignored

Interesting - I’m not sure most have an idea what type of ITK (club connection/agent connection/player connection/bank/etc) each is so hard to contextualise.

Clearly we need to finish outside the top 4 as we attracted more talent when we could offer them Europa League football at little old White Hart Lane. This Champions League lark and 60k+ crowds for league games seem to offer no incentive at all.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Worries me that if we get injuries then we'll end up relying on youth and with the best will in the world that's a lot of pressure on them and a lack of experience will, I suspect tell.

Ah the good old days when that was the only reason we weren't signing anyone.

Appreciate @ValenciaYid info, and really hope Poch is relaxed.

Question is, if Poch wasn't interested in signings why did we bother talking to all these clubs and agents all summer? If we sign no one, we've over-played the money/squad management card. The man deserves at least one key target delivered, even if over our deemed value. I suspect it's too late now...

You don't win anything with kids.

Shame we didn’t ull our fingers out and get Kovacic on loan!

Seeming him go to Chelsea, when he’s exactly what we need, is worse than no signings.

What an unmitigated cock up this window has been. I do wonder what Poch will now make of his ‘assurances’.

That deal was a sweetener to help them get Courtois.
Also it appears Poch doesn't want people for one season, he wants long term commitment.

If we are not signing anyone - I think the least the fans deserve is a full and clear explanation of what our transfer policy is / what our strategy is and what the hell is going on given we have a shiny new stadium to fill with lots of expensive tickets

When the day trippers and tourists dry up if Levy doesn’t want a bunch of empty seats coming clean and explaining to the fans how the club will progress from here is important as otherwise discontent and then and us feelings of the club being run as a cash machine vs aiming for sporting glory will fester
