We didn't/haven't/won't sign anyone.
It's really not the end of the world that some of the complete fannies in here are making out.

I am a bit gutted that Martial couldn't be worked out. But hey ho.

I honestly believe we are still in a strong position, and I think the team will surprise a few this year.

Some of the brattish, childish, pathetic comments that litter this thread are completely embarrassing.

The one guarantee in football is that there are no guarantees.

Put it this way, we could be sitting on an absolute worldy of a player like Kane, who's path could have otherwise been blocked by a potential signing.

We haven't turned to shit overnight.

Our first 11 still beats any first 11 in the league on its day. I truly believe when we play as well as we KNOW we can, we can beat any team on the planet.

COYFS.

And for a final thought, how about keeping a can on the fucking bile and vitriol?!

Barely a single person here knows what has gone on behind the scenes. Panning Levy is a stupid fucking thing to do when you have about 3% of the information he has access to regarding the state of the club, the finances, the conversations with other chairmen etc etc.

How about not slating everything like spoilt fucking idiots. Step away from the keyboard, and go do something more useful.

The more overreaction there is to this (pretty trivial) situation, the more the media are going to prey on it the more the team gets unsettled, the more the results suffer, the lower in the league we finish.

Aren't people aware that their constant spewing of complete fucking bullshit is often a catalyst for the masses becoming aware?

Like seriously, if you want this window to be "thing" for this whole season, then go ahead. Rant, rave, act like a wanker etc etc.

But then don't moan about it when Sky, Talksport, and mainstream media WUM's are sticking the boot in throughout the season.

Because you'll have basically caused the fucking uproar yourselves. Prats.

Yes. We should have made a signing or two. But we haven't. Boo fucking hoo.

We're still Tottenham from the fucking Lane, we're still good, and we're going to dick fucking Newcastle at the weekend.

Fuck.

So we are now only looking at players who are being offered to us, awesome.

So we are not even looking at plan b,c,d,e etc on the original wishlist.

What a fuck up, bet Poch is over the moon.

I think an ITK mentioned recently we would see what Levy is made of in the next few days, I guess hot air and bullshit is the answer.
Anyone who believes there was ever a plan a b or c lives in a levy bubble

Sure. That's the same as Kane, Dier, Alli, Trippier, Rose, Dembele, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Lloris.
What do 8/9 of those guys losing in semifinals teach us about losing in semifinals, they've all already lost 2 here at Spurs? Not like we played Lloris in our own semi final anyways.

It’s all just severely disappointing. I’m due to take a weekend trip in late December to catch the home game against Wolves and New Years in London. About $2500 usd for the girl and I to have a long weekend (our first trip to the UK). I feel so disgusted with the club, I’ve lost most of the excitement about the trip. I’m severely worried about this season now. I

I'm finished on this thread till after TW closes. Can't take anymore.

I just want to reach out to @BringBack_leGin for his utter devotion to the club throughout this debacle.
Not being sarcastic, I just think he deserves recognition for his outstanding efforts.(y)
Well, at the end of the day it's Tottenham Hotspur Football Club I support, I love, and I am committed to for better or worse, sickness and health, richer or poorer.

And my wife. Her too.

But Spurs came first... :cautious:

Why the fuck would you want that? Make us worse, make our rivals better, and spend some of our clearly precious money while we are at it

Nonsense

How on earth does losing a player whose dug his own grave and made his position untenable and replacing him with a shit hot and much younger player make us weaker? Are you high?

You guys are all going to feel stupid this season. We are GOOD, it is hard to add quality. If we keep our players I expect us to compete for the league.

It's not like we don't all want a superb season or think that Poch is an incredible manager, it's that there is way too much being asked of the man to challenge for the title given the quality of our rivals who left us in the dust both in the prem and champions league. Logic says that we will be further away if they strengthen whilst we will weaken (Toby leaving to europe). Too much is being asked of all the lads given the injury issues we have in the middle of the park and we would have liked to have seen them given some tools to level the playing field or at least provide some option so they don't burn out.

If Toby not sold today, he will not be available. Apparently settled his diffeowoth Poch and club.
Let’s see

He won't be available or will because he settled his differences? Weren't his differences his salary - settled would mean getting an pay increase no?

it really feels like other clubs just don’t want to deal with Levy anymore. No ins and outs paint that picture.

edit
obviously the rational part of me doesn't but we are self sabotaging and it's making me a little bit REDRUM

Do you expect them to be fit and fighting every PL and CL game this season? Especially after so many had a long World Cup? I don’t. This isn’t FIFA 19. In real life fatigue and injuries take a toll.
