I've long suspected that A&C and Yankspurs were the same person. And so it appears.

Fair enough if there weren't any marquee signings out there that fitted our needs/budget. But to not even sign one or two unproven/hopeful players is baffling.

What on earth have our scouts being doing all season?!

Needs a serious overhaul, appalling showing.

No, because booing our own side is despicable in any circumstances.

And they don't disagree with me by the way, I fully agree that this window is disappointed and I have concerns about the season ahead. I'm just not desperate about it as I still think we'll have a good season, play good football, challenge near the top and I'm fucking excited about that.

I love your positivity, honestly do but when you start charging the most expensive season tickets in the world, I repeat in the world, do you not by default increase expectations? Is playing good football and hovering around the top 6 enough?

Also, what is the long term effect of this window? Manager and players not as hungry for success because the chairman clearly isn't. Manager gets pissed off as he has to compete against others that are strengthening all the time and looks elsewhere. Players likewise.

The optimism of Breezer's "minimum 2" and the GOAT's "2 in, 4 out" quickly turned to zilch. I wonder what happened? I guess that'll be a discussion for the postmortem thread, but it'll be frustrating if we had opportunities to upgrade but didn't take them. That said, I'd rather do no business than sign a couple more average squad fillers.

I’m dissapointed at not signing any players but I do have so much faith in the manager and this group. Ideally a big name or two would have been sweet but I do have faith in poch to make this season come good with our squad cohesion remaining and blooding a couple academy players.

IF we do this after not making any signings and not spending any money it will be even sweeter, especially looking at clubs like Man Utd that have spent over 700m since fergie left.

It will say a lot for having continuity in a spurs side, which I have wanted since supporting the club from the late 80’s early 90’s.
