So, the club decided it wasn’t worth adding to the squad with the players available - fair enough really.

Poch has said it’s not worth buying players for the sake of it.

Lots of people on here have been saying yes to Grealish, but at the right price...
Yes to zaha but not for 80m or whatever...
Seems like the club agrees...

Fans always lament not signing players because it’s exciting to do so and it feels like missing out.

I’m not sure who we’ve missed out on which is breaking everyone’s balls?!

Can’t wait for the new season - COYS!!!

Oh, c'mon! Tottenham Hotspur literally exists, that should be all it takes to make us happy.
I would like to see NHS statistics for heart conditions and mental health for patients that follow this club of ours. I'm sure the NHS could save £350m a week if Levy could just get the bloody transfer window right for once..lol

Anyone who tries to defend the badly wee money grabbing rat now needs their head examined. He can come out with all the shit he wants now but at the end of the day the club, manager and supporters have all been let down once again by this miserly twat. Signings were needed and he had enough time to do it because he voted for an early closure of the window. Stick your excuses were the sun don't shine Levy you useless piece of shit.

A different spin on things...

I’m dissapointed at not signing any players but I do have so much faith in the manager and this group. Ideally a big name or two would have been sweet but I do have faith in poch to make this season come good with our squad cohesion remaining and blooding a couple academy players.

IF we do this after not making any signings and not spending any money it will be even sweeter, especially looking at clubs like Man Utd that have spent over 700m since fergie left.

It will say a lot for having continuity in a spurs side, which I have wanted since supporting the club from the late 80’s early 90’s.

Also to add to this; with 15mins to go and we hold out from selling TA to one of our rivals (Man Utd), who we have seen many times just pick and choose who they want from us, then it’s a sweet little win in my opinion.

I would like a statement from the club, I think, explaining things, considering how much money I've spent on one of the most expensive season tickets in world football...

I gather a big issue (beyond getting our A+ choices at fees we can pay) is the other side of the ledger. We were looking to shift maybe 5 or 6 players and thus far - ZERO have gone. I doubt anyone could have predicted that. Maybe if we can shift a few before the end of the month we'll have room to deal in Jan.

You can not decide not to sign anybody who is not top class while not be prepared to pay top money..this is a dead position. Wenger used to take this approach as well but at least he knew board would pay.
