Not shit till we have played enough of the season to tell.
IF we manage to do well again this season (CL) and win a trophy would that not mean we had a good window?
I'm sorry but I'm not in the "Buy at any cost as long as he's a new player" camp. And yes I think we need a couple more players to assist our squad this season.
So as I say only time will tell for me.

Good season does not mean it was a good window. Just like we could have a bad season but we could have gotten good players in the TW. We had goals this summer to bring in players to improve the squad, we didn't do that which means it was bad.
I honestly don't understand how people could questions whether this was good or not. Literally the first time its happened in 15 years.

It’s as simple as this:
Q: Did we need any new players in the transfer window?
A: Obviously. We needed cover for Eriksen, Kane and possibly Rose and Toby (who might both be sold to European clubs).
Poch seemed to think that we needed some new blood too, from what he was saying at the end of last season.
But why be realistic about it, when you can bury your head in the sand and say over and over “all is good, all is good, all is good...”

Most people seem to expect everything and want it now, whereas I, as an old geezer, am not so impatient or demanding of our club.

just want to say as a new member who joined a couple of months ago looking for info about the new stadium what an interesting and eye-opening experience it's been to follow the itk threads over the window. It's given me lots to debate with my long term season ticket holding partner as well which is always a bonus. Thank you very much to everyone involved. (hoping its OK to put this here?)

I've kept quiet most window. Have to say disappointed in no signings (would have been happy with Jack only) however the challenge to a reasonable window will be getting the dos out over the next three weeks. With the rumours that Jack will have a release clause placed in any new contract hopefully we can grab him January.

Amazing that there was not a single player on the planet we could not buy regardless of whether they are squad or team player or even a prospect !
Appreciate there is no need to buy for the sake of it but we did not buy to preserve our position whilst others tried to fill their weak spots.
More concern is the current team and Poch and what they think about the TW, and whether it will inspire and motivate them or whether they will have one eye on a move away at some point. Hope it's the former!

Saw an article about Rafinha from Barca being touted as available for 25 mil. Wonder if he could be our January special this year? Everything I've heard was that he really shined for Inter but they just couldn't afford the fee due to ffp restrictions.
