Positive news from the goat yesterday. I think two players coming in is about the best we can expect.

Assuming one is Holtby, we then have to hope that the other is a striker. Having said that its clear we're also looking at a central midfielder. Is it too much to ask to get Holtby, Diame and a striker?
Do you really think its clear we're looking for a central midfielder!? I can't see us signing Holtby and another Mid.

i have a feeling we will sign holtby and then either hooper or negredo as they seem to be in the price range and both have scored bucket loads of goals in their leagues

Holtby is a different kettle of badgers from the likes of Diame and Sissoko.
Yes I know! But he could enable Dembele to drop deeper. Anyway its just my opinion. Holtby and another striker. I'd be very shocked if we bought another CM.

This thread still makes Spurs Community what it is. Sod the off topic stuff, don't let it change it's gold.

We've substituted off topic with all of you Ice Creams just saying good morning to each other! Brilliant!

50 pages of ITK thread FTW.

Ps...'morning all'.

My prediction: No ITK today,
0-1 signings before deadline day: Holtby

Will keep an eye on this thread but as usual try to refrain from posting unless some proper ITK materialises. Though i usually end up posting some form of drivel at some point.

Our last donation drive almost covered us for the month but things aren't good at chez SC.........In the summer we raised enough to keep us going until Nov/Dec but very soon the coffers will be bare and once the window closes we face the long hard months.

So, we shall be passing the cap around later this morning and again sparodically throught the day.

This is why almost all of you haven't been banned for spamming etc. So we can get guilt money ;)

I reckon we're in a Jam and I Beat Surrender. This is the Modern World after all and From In the Crowd it looks like We're Absolute Beginners. All The Mod Cons we've got from All Around The World only brings Dead End Street! No more News of the World and it's Saturday's Kids in a Private Hell. No more Town like Malice, but we've got The Dreams Of Children and so That's Entertainment.

I Snap, oh Billy Hunt! - I'm Going Underground!

And if we don't get any donations we're going have to sell A&Cs kidney. Which is particularly worrying for him as he's already donated three of them to Gazza.

Not RO worthy, but JamesTheSpur on FTL... re Diame to us...

Seems an oddly specific timeline but I'm prepared to go with it.

Theoretically this should be an easy deal to do. There's a fixed price and he's presumably not on silly wages at Wet Sham.

For 3.5m it's an absolute no brainer, particularly as we'll probably be able to sell Livermore for more than that.

I guess the only issue is whether Arsenal fancy making a move to. Can't see Levy getting pulled into to a price war with them. He'll either meet the release clause or move on I'd imagine.
