And Wednesday's thread was full of woe……….

From the feedback i've received, yesterday's SC Gameshow "The Eye" was a resounding success.

You're all welcome.

We managed to have a day where (with one or two exceptions) people actually used their noggins. Sadly, I have to report that nobody actually won any prizes, although one or two came close, but hey-ho, you can't have everything can you?

But the good news is that nobody winning a prize makes today a rollover!

The Eye is watching. Will today bring us a winner?

If Konoplyanka seems like a tough deal, but there is a possibility of Griezmann and we havent acted then we have our priorities wrong. I would go all out for Griezmann IF there would be a chance of success as I see him as the superior player.

The ITK we have had is that Griezman is media talk... If Konoplyanka is available for near the money West Ham bid that would be a good move. It is strange that we have signed those players and announced nothing. There must be a reason which would be interesting to hear

Like this news a lot....ties in with the quality not quantity itk we had about Poch's philosophy. Loving the thought of Spurs being free of Rose & Naughton, that's the best ITK we could ever hope for

Is the Kono you refer too that Ukranian winger ?

as for the itk, sounds good. if daws is gone as we suspect, chiriches not yet fully ready/proven and kaboul struggling then you'd have to say the incoming cb/ch would have to be top quality.

I'd be delighted with either Konoplyanka or Griezmann. Either would significantly strengthen our 1st team.

I was very impressed with Konoplyanka when we played them. He's quick, tricky and very combative. His close control on what was an awful pitch particularly impressive.

There must be something putting clubs off him because @ 12m, he's relatively low risk in today's market.

It can't be with their club as there is a clear break clause of 12m. His agents must be trying to get a large payment themselves to offset the "bargain" fee.

Lascelles would tie in with what herts said about the young defender being done.
Also I believe Jj kind of retracted his statement when recently asked about him
