I really can live without Holtby.
Like Sandro he seems popular through his social interactions, unlike Sandro, he's never proven his worth on the pitch for us beyond fleeting contributions.

I can't say I've noticed these qualities. If 'intensity' equates to 'running around a lot' I'm with you.

I think its obvious that he's got creative qualities. What he hasn't done has shown them on a consistent basis yet, but he hasn't really had that much of a chance yet has he? In terms of a consistent run in the team with us anyway.

You really can't see that he has good vision for instance? League cup game against Villa and the League game away to Sunderland...countless times he created for Defoe, not to mention the third goal he feeds Defoe to score against City season before. The goal he sets up for Sidwell at OT whilst at loan at Fulham or the goal for Rodellega at Villa Park...

Ok there's been plenty of games he hasn't done that well, but they've mostly been sporadic appearances in a Spurs shirt and its hard to find that rhythm unless you're starting regularly...which he was at Fulham and thus became more consistent.

He needs to improve his positioning, when and what zones to press etc...hopefully something Poch improves but he has the raw ingredients to fit Poch's playing style.

sandro and holtby both leaving would be heartbreaking for me. Vlaar surely is the opposite to what would suit the new system? Vlaar would be most underwhelming signing since nelson for me! Holtby is perfect for Poch system and sandro at his best is a great foil while the full backs will push high. Seems ridiculous to me

Think it's another media bullshit story, guys. Just like how people are saying Chiriches doesn't fit our plans. Seems like ass backwards thinking to say Vlaar would but Chiriches wouldn't.

Think Nixon reads SC, there was a few pages of Vlaar talk on here other day (No ITK) and suddenly he is linked, i think Nixon has column inches to fill so is just recycling SC talk

Look at his other Spurs stories, he was the only person in the media to say Lloris had been offered a new contract and he also called Davies choosing Spurs over Liverpool when others (including JJ at the time) all said he was going to Liverpool.

I hope you are right, but he has been the best Journo (including ITK's) by far for Spurs news.

Remy would have been an excellent buy and reports said Levy was all over the transfer at £8 mill.

I think Bony will be better. There is more to him IMO. Smiley Ade and his sourpuss could be a nice combo.

He also did the Dawson and Gylfi not keen on leaving story. Definitely one to watch this summer

So he's basically just seen, or been talking to JJ...Schneiderlin and one of Depay/Kono

Good stuff!
Tbf, Gards called Poch to Spurs (and was adament for weeks) when JJ was silent on the matter.

Just seems odd, Vlaar is the polar opposite to the type of player we need for Poch's system, i would rather even keep Dawson than him, very odd link

Don't see Swansea selling us 3 first team players in one window tbh

Oh yeah I know that mate. Was just pointing out that they share info...and just assuming he's just spoken to JJ.
