Morning all. Telegraph reporting PSG in for Damiao this may force our hand one way or another. Not sure how credible the Telegraph is when it comes to sports journalism. JJ are you aware of any new developments?

The only striker we really need is one to come off the bench and the likes of Remy, Berbatov, Leandro would have no interest in being on our bench.

The big reason for our surge this season has been the all round play of Adebayor so he must start so I don't want a big name striker this window, someone like Zamora would be ideal, I am probably venturing off topic as there is no ITK on him but everyone seems to want a big name striker the window bar me.

I think getting Hazard in would be better than expected. The likes of Remy and Damiao I think are reasonable standard of target for our club at this point in time.

For some reason, the general lack of ITK this window gives some quiet reassurance that we may get someone in. Sort of like the lull before the storm.

I reckon the Club have gone to some lengths to try and plug the leaks that lead to ITK info as a means of protecting their targets. Just a thought

Indeed it is. Nice one, JJ. Obviously things are still very much dependant on players leaving, but the next three days could be good ones. :grin:

L'Equipe is usually first and best with any transfer news regarding French teams or players. If it's not in L'Equipe yet i wouldn't think much has happened. No doubt with a famous Brazilian manager they would be taking a look at Leandro, but i don't think they've yet bid for him.

Much as he is a great player where would Hazard play?

We have the best midfield/attacking midfield in the premiership

Hazard coming would mean dropping Modric or VDV
