We got 5 pieces of ITK for the whole of the January transfer window.
5. That's fewer than the number of shits A&C has done just this morning.
I don't think I'll be expecting a huge flurry in this window (of ITK I mean...we'll leave A&C to his own flurries). Seems like the club keep things a lot closer to their chests these days.

True. I also believe it's because many people are now beyond wanting to talk about transfers on an internet forum, it's almost old hat. I remember the glory days of 2006-2010 when we'd would rarely go a day without at least three pieces of ITK.
It's the smartphone age, people can't be arsed anymore. :-(

It's more to do with how fucking tedious the transfer window is now. At least before deals could be wrapped up with a level of secrecy. And even if negotiations are slow at first, once a fee is agreed the medical and scarf shot is imminent.
But now it's a side-show. The Pogba deal epitomizes how much of a circus it is now. The worst kept secret in football - purposefully dragged on and on for two months as a marketing ploy.
