I think it's more likely that we will promote more academy players, rather than spend money in January.
The problem with the winter transfer window is that it's only 1 month, compared to 2/3 months in the summer. The summer one allows teams to plan for ins & outs, whereas in January teams are reluctant to sell higher quality players because they don't have as much time to replace.

It will be hard to find the player in January period.

It won't be hard to find them. It will however be incredibly difficult to prize them away from their current club. Perhaps we should be looking at players that have already expressed being unhappy with how things are progressing at their current club?

I agree with you, but bear in mind this happened in January 2013 when we signed Holtby, and he didn't make that much difference at all.

Cliff Jones looks pretty sprightly for his age and may be available and would defn be an upgrade on Sissoko.
