Deadline day is traditionally more chaotic than other days in the window. You'll have scatter gun bids for players made by clubs desperate to fill gaps in their squads given it's their last opportunity to get someone in. They will have moved from a plan A signing to plan b with very little notice. We used to that ourselves. So I don't think it's always the case players where players are actively involved in negotiations leading up to deadline day.
Fair enough, I see your point however this year is a bit of an anomaly as normally deadline day doesn't fall on a match day, this season is different though so I wouldn't call it a farce, it's just down to scheduling.

Personally thought this gag had been done to death, but the fact the same people hit the laugh button for both of these clearly shows there is some comedy value left in it. Either that or some of the posters on here have the memory of a goldfish..
It's been done to death for sure. But Its completely tounge in cheek and shows the progress we have made on and off the pitch that there aren't any real meltdowns with the lack of signings.

Oh and Levy Out!!

Can't really say Levy out. He did bring in Poch which has made the team improve massively

Fairly recent research has shown that the much maligned goldfish does have a remarkably good memory - variously reported as anything from one to twelve weeks. Much longer than many on here I'll grant you.

Oh bravo!! This is the best cryptic I've seen in a long time. But I can't crack it. I've narrowed it down to two players though. It was the Memory of a Goldfish that did it.

Leeds Utd pair of Sol Bamba and Ronaldo Vierra, amirite??

If anyone feels like helping us out, it would be appreciated.

I'd love us to put a 100m bid for griezman or Sanchez just for lolz. And then we get in talks and offer them 100k, see what happens. Just to throw a spanner in the works for Le arse and Manure.
