A very big Thank you to all our resident Itk guys. Thank you for sharing in good faith as usual.

I cant remember SC having so many big guns and ive been here since 2008 i think.

Breezer. GreyFox. JJ. Trix. Gards. Hercules whom I've suspected for a very long time to have been Itk( his posting style was the give away) add to that list Valencia Yid (is he still Itk? ) or was that Val Yid.

Nonetheless thanks guys. Some deals did not happen but as i have come to learn take with a pinch of salt or doses.

Great job by the Mods and A&C having his own meltdown...who would have thought....

The best site for all things spurs and more.

Overall window was ok Sanchez and aurier being the standout signings for me so pleased there, as for the rest of the window yes we are still left short but hey levy was never going to get everything we needed so onwards we go.

Two things:

1) I'd love to know who the "unlikely but very exciting if it comes off" player was, as reported by a few sources. Was that Gomes?

2) as I request every year - please could we still have a RO section, or equivalent in Spurs Chat, where ITK's can still post after the Transfer Forums shut? Otherwise anything that comes out after the event ends up getting lost in various threads and often never sees the light of day past the four people who happened to see it when it was posted. There's always aftermath ITK post-window but it's always really hard to keep up with, or even notice, it.

Perhaps not but it's certainly how it comes across.

As for finding out what went on behind closed doors, or how Poch feels about the window, I either suspect your in the minority by supposedly not caring, or that secretly you do just as much as the rest of us.
Wrong again. You really should stop assuming, you're not very good at it. Your suspecting skills aren't up to much either ;)

Hearing from the ITK's really REALLY hasn't got anything to do with what I said. You taken what I said in totally the wrong way.

Sorry bobbsy, such a thread would take moderating and after three months solid at this that ain't happening. I've had enough.

I'll ask the ITK's if they'd like to post their thoughts in here though and hopefully, if they are up for it, they'll let you all know.

All in all just about happy, really. I thought we were the weakest and most vulnerable at CB, and that was thoroughly addressed. Then I always thought they'd never give up signing an RB after the departure of Walker, and that panned out nicely. Lastly I really thought having three CFs in the squad would be a great idea, and now we do. I was not really too fussed about strengthening other places and the Barkley saga was boring as heck right from the start. So I have no reason to complain, which leaves me feeling empty and hollow. :ROFLMAO:

I'm pretty sure you have had enough! Just like to throw out there the amazing job yourself, The Boss, Stoof and the other mods have done during the window. I would seriously be lost without this place after being made redundant and not being able to find anything else for a little while. Also a massive shout out to all the ITK fella's who have kept us in the loop. You know who you all are! Also well done to all those magnificent whores who have sniffed out the info on the other (not as cool) sites.

With any luck one or two of the ITK's may give a rundown on the window as a whole. I know Foxy and i think JJ has done so in the past in the post mortem thread. I just hope if they do, everyone will keep their shit together. I think it's been a good window and has improved the team. So know we see what happens.

Fair enough, the moderating is something I always end up taking for granted actually so that's a salutary reminder.

On that note thanks for another amazing performance this window, don't know how you do it.

Would really like to know who this mystery pacy option was, because there was literally nothing in the media whatsoever about one.

Semi-decent window I suppose, but would have liked a wing-forward.

There was too much positive ITK to not feel slightly underwhelmed with the end result but, in the cold light of day, i think we've done ok.

The window was always going to be as much about who we kept as who we bought in and to only lose Walker and everyone else (Danny excepted) seemingly fairly happy that's a pretty good result, particularly when you look at the likes of Sanchez, Ozil, Costa and Coutinho.

Thanks everyone especially a&c who i thought might give up at one point.

Was it a great window? Only time will tell. Some very good players. Would have loved martins (even though i'd never heard of him and we didn't actually have any itk). At the start of the window i said i'd like an alonso type for cm. Which we didn't get.

Personally think it was ok. Not great not shit. Just hope we can start winning games at wembley.

If any of the itk's get info on non transfer stuff please post it in the relevant threads. Naming rights, are enic going to sell, does levy's pa have really big tits, that sort of shit.

Thanks to all those that contribute itk as we wouldn't have a thread and @dovahkiin who should really work for mi6.
See you all in jan.

Very Happy with what we bought

Not Happy with what we didn't buy.

Overal we are stronger than before window opened

Kane has some competition/help at long last.

We have the best back 5 anywhere.

Lets do this.

I'm not sure what to think really. Can't help but feel a little disappointed at not adding some other attacking options and depth was always our issue and that's covered for defence, attack and attacking midfield. I still think we'd be missing something if Dembele was to get injured though as I've never been a fan of Dier and Dembele but at least there is still more depth there regardless.

I do think we can really tell what we need when Rose and Lamela are back though and how our starting 11 will looks as well as our options from the bench. I mean we could potentially have Son, Lamela, N'Koudou and Sissoko all as options outside of the starting 11. It would be a better way to gauge where we're at I think.

I do also think the players would have been given a bit of a boost with maybe more exciting or high profile signings that's for sure but hopefully results and performances will prove otherwise and will show that it's not needed.
That's the thing, I keep forgetting about Lamela because he has been out for so long but he has been sorely missed. Hopefully Rose will have put all the recent silliness behind him and be ready to commit to the cause.

Cautiously satisfied with the overall positions we got and factoring the new build very happy. I believe we have improved the team. Hoping that Rose and Coco will come back sooner rather than later will be immense. Onwards and upwards in the premiership and the build.

Good solid window. The injury to Barkley really was unlucky for us as I believe we would have got him now if not for this and he is clearly the attacking midfielder we most want.

So I am guessing but I suspect some other targets fell because a whole lot of other transfers failed to cross the line. Anyway how can you have a transfer window shutting when players are out on international duty, craziness. Finallywe got who we got and move on hoping that Rose and eventually Lamela are back fit to add the extra attacking threat we need
