We are trying the deal is expensive so knowing us be hard to do
All our deals are hard to do

Jace ace then said we have to sell

The father in law spoke to Kevin Bond yesterday. Apparently what Harry was saying about us having no money and needing to sell first is 100% true. The squad is too big and they needs to trim.
Harry in telling the truth shock!

And last of all was dazzaherring on 'money'

Dear oh dear some peoples views are shocking.

we have money to spend, plenty in fact.

But bottom line is that our squad is far too big. It must be cut down and harry has been told that. There's loads of deals bubbling away.

Clear some deadwood then the true squad can be analysed and we can then bring in any targets. Ages to go in the window no need to panic just yet
So it's pretty much settled then. When we start seeing outgoings, we might, just might also start to see a signing or three.

And, sadly, that was all there was to bring you. Bang up to date.

In other news:

David Haye blames "broken toe" for defeat.

More like a "camel toe" as you boxed like a ****. :)

AND NOW, TO HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR SC.......

Anyone fancy owning this lovely photo signed by Ricky Villa?

user3646_pic834_1309729577.jpg

He's pictured scoring for Spurs against Man City in the 1981 FA Cup Final Replay it's about 8x13 inches in size and will come packaged in a tube.

The money raised will go toward running Spurs Community.

So, no time wasters, no 'joke' bids or stuff like that please. The winning bidder can pay throught the SC Donation system using Paypal, please add £3 for packaging & postage and then PM me with your name and address.

The highest bidder at 4pm wins. Bidding starts at £1 but you can start higher than that, remember, the money goes to SC.

£25 buys one outright (this includes P&P). PM me to buy one outright. I have four in all.

If you don't want the photo and wish to donate anyway

We all know Levy's got his loose change hidden within the walls of the stadium...there's probably £25million quid stashed away all in dirty, pooed up pennies.

Another £30million odd in euros, nickels and dimes he's collected over the years.

Besides, the Levy's got more airmiles than the Clooney in Up in the Air...can't he trade them in for a new striker?

Dear Mr Chairman of (add club here)

Wanna go around the world several times a year? If so, give us (add striker) and we'll make it happen. In installments. Yes, the way you purchase a tumble dryer.

Thanks,

The Levy

P.S, Don't mess...I'm different.

Scottish bank notes are hardly legal tender...

Just joking.

Surely, other than identifying who he is happy to let go, it's not Harry's job to get rid of players surplus to requirements?

It's Levy who does the buying and selling so if we're being held up in buying players because we need to shift some then it's all down to him.

Harry identify the players he doesn't want for this season, and levy tries to sell them.

Just to add to dazzherring info

There are at least half a dozen players told to actively seek pastures new. Until the agents of these players do their jobs properly our hands are pretty much tied on that front.

I'm sure Harry and levy would sell these players before breakfast given the chance.

Lets just hope that returning to training spurs these players on to finding new homes

24th wedding anniversary today. I asked the wife for a new striker. I'll let you know if she gets us one.

PS Looking at the bank balance, it's likely to be David Nugent.

Wouldn't we be able to notify other clubs of the players availability? I'd be worried if it was down to agents only because they are always going to stretch the deals out to get the best for their player (and in turn for themselves). Also some of those players are likely to want to stay or be happy to just pick up the wages. It's easy to sell players like O'Hara who are hungry to play football, but we have players who I am convinced will just see out their contracts without having to make a lot of effort.

How was it done in the days before agents?

True, but it's (usually) in an agent's best interest for their players to move, as the get commission, a bit like estate agents.

So the boys are back at work today? Must be hard being a footballer.

How long before we hear that Keane is impressing in training and now Harry wants to keep him.

Making the ones we want to sell train with the apprentices should get their agents arses into gear...

It's in their best interest for a player to move for sure, but they would be in no rush to do it as thye would be looking to squeeze every last penny out of a deal and into their own pockets. It's a bit of a conflict of interests if we are looking to move players out quickly.

Thanks ryan.

So I guess we'll be able to judge who has the 'best' agents by which of our players are in the newspapers over the next week or two.

And I'm not talking about Luka Modric. :-|

Newspaper just take there info from here, so if we want a player gone we should just start linking them away on hete and then see it in the paper the next day?

Keane to Bolton
JJ to QPR
Hutton to Sunderland
Pal to PSG
Pav to that team in Russia
Crouch to anywhere...

I'm sure that every club in the land is aware of who is available and how much that player is likely to cost. But ultimately it is down to the agents to sell their clients.

This could be one of the factors behind our swap shop offer to Bolton. Maybe remind the players that if they don't find new clubs we'll find one for them.

This is definitely the stumbling block on incomings though, that's for sure

So who is to blame for having such an inflated squad in the first place?
