I can't remember who said it but apparently Levy gets a buzz about making deals on deadline day, fingers crossed Daniel pulls it out of the bag.

I think it was our friend Redknapp Jnr who said that, which it means it is probably bollocks like everything else he spouts.

Of course deadline day is a rush for any ambitious chairman, but it's more about value than adrenaline for Levy.

I can't really believe the hand wringing about no activity this Jan. Teams who are getting it right don't need to make signings in January. For real quality at the right price it's all about summer.

Surely however poor ade had been if we don't replace him we would be mad to be left with kane and a guy in soldado who simply doesn't score. We've a hell of a lot of games left. Least we know ade can do something

I always thought ghostofarmo aka the Scout was quite reliable he was one of the first to call Bale to Madrid as a done deal when everyone bar JJ was saying he was staying

not sure why he felt the need to mention that as it's pretty obvious lol and doesn't mean it will happen.

I guess a lot depends on what his presence is doing to the rest of the squad. We've played 40 games by my count already this season. At the most we can now play another 25 games or 18 at the least (I think). With decent rotation and no key injuries we should be ok. Let's be honest nothing we do now is really gonna soften the blow of an injury to Kane, Eriksen, Vertonghen or Lloris. As we've seen recently with some of our so called deadwood they still have an important role to play.

I remember in 2010 when Palacios missed some key games at the business end of the season and everyone wrote us off only for the replacements to do the business when it mattered most...

There was a tweet that has since vanished that was in between the 3rd and 4th, which said something along the lines of "glad we are not getting Ade, it would be stupid to if he left and we didn't bring someone else in" but was put in a way that "we don't want to" would have fit better and that is what made me think that was also about Ade. In saying that, It wasn't Jay that wrote it, so if your theory on the 1st name is who he is responding to, you must be correct.

seems like Lennon has a few offers, and Chiriches to Roma still could be on, and maybe Ade to Stoke or QPR. I am sure we are trying to do perm deals.... but all 3 could just be loans.

I think you need to point the finger of blame at Fernandes and Hughes, not Harry. You hope Fernandes doesn't run his airline like he runs his football club.

Harry has brought some think like 20 players to QPR a since he joined them. So the squad is his and therefore it is his fault they are fighting relegation once again.
