Personally I think he is full of sheet. That whole German volley thing was clearly hinting at Marco Reus, not realising that the guy was already joining Dortmund. Very iffy.

I know, I treat all ITK as rumours, or a wish list. I was just genuinely pleased that someone defended Akqa.

I like Akqa for info, I just don't believe it any more. JJ has poo poo-ed him on nearly everything of late, which is kinda funny!

As you say though, treat it as just rumours, and no one gets hurt!

For a brief moment the other day I thought "THIS IS IT! We're gonna sign Falcao!!! This is the Brave New Spurs!!!" Yeah, then I woke myself up and brought myself back to reality!

In that reality I will be happy with Ade plus one other striker, not sure who, but it won't be Benzema or Falcao, that's for sure!

Bit harsh really. Whilst there may be some question against this particular bit of ITK, Akqa has called a fair bit correctly. As has been stated many times on here, a lot of the ITK can come early doors and can be subject to change within hours, let alone days. I'm sure the info provided is in good faith so saying he is full of 'sheet', which suggests you may think he is making it up, is unfair and innaccurate too.

I thought that comment related to the BM stuff specifically. If you look at it he said he typo'd, now he is coming back saying he didnt... Can't have it both ways... I think he has a few different places he hears things so would expect some of it ot be quite patchy...

He just appears to be an attention seeker, and all his drunken posts on Twitter are ludicrous. I may be wrong, but I take anything he says with Bonneville Salt Flats sized pinches of salt.

There's saying you take his info with a pinch of salt and then there's saying he's full of shit. Akqa is optimistic and tends to be a bit more inconsistent, but he's not a wum or overtly dodgy. What some people forget is that different ITK's get info at different stages and from different sources, it;s very easy for Akqa to be told such and such is an option and it ends up being nothing when JJ gains access to the same info.

Not to mention his source could've been vague about the player from the 27th and Akqa just assumed wrongly, he is after all human, not everyone is infallible.

Leave the man be. Whatever he posts he posts, he's under no obilgation to share whatever information he has, whether it is true false or rubbish. Let's just enjoy discussing the information whether its from POTL, Akqayid, JJ, Roger Morgan, Ben, Goat/Cobra etc...

It's what makes the Transfer windows fun....isn't it?

I think you think right. He doesn't seem to apply any kind of filter either, and also appears to have a 'You heard it here first' thing. That's not a good combination. I don't believe he makes stuff up, though.
