Totally respect you mate but have to disagree. Them fuckwits can do what they want. Bale might want to stay but if a high fee comes in he will go. Sorry to go against the trend.

Sitting here waiting for the backlash.

I don't think Levy will piss on anyone's chips this window, if he has told AVB and quite clearly Paulinho and probably Villa that Bale is staying, i am certain he will stay, the impact of our board lying to the management this season could derail everything, AVB would walk if he gets shafted, i am certain of it..

I agree. Personally would be amazed if Real don't get Bale this summer. Is there one example of them doing the whole public courtship of a player and not getting him? They even got figo out of barca. I don't see why we'd be the one club they can't extract a player from.

What backlash are you expecting, if we get a world record bid like Madrid go on about, I don't think anyone can say anything about not accepting. That said the potential revenue we miss out on if bale becomes a star with us could be even more than a record bid. As our sponsorship is well behind our neighbours.

Haha ask what you like buddy it is no probs.

I was not annoyed (nothing can annoy me) it was a passing comment that I was not accepted on here. I did make a comment earlier in the day that I was going to embarrass itks it was a reference to somebody who was copying me on a different forum not this one.

They were two different comments and it was mis-intepreted however it was completely my fault for making the silly comments. I sincerely apologise for that one.

RM player?

Must be coentrao
It could be number of players tbh
Morata - always scores goals
Jese - very very highly rated winger, if they don't get bale, they wont sell imo
Callejon - I hope not
Arbeloa - I hope not
Higuain - I have a feeling he will go City

Morata please, could learn from the best (two?) Spanish striker(s) in the world and I doubt he'll be getting a serious chance at Madrid.

The backlash that people don't like hearing the obvious. I'm loving the fact that ITK coming out saying he wont be sold no matter what. But I have heard a very different tale. But would be major money. I hope to God my info is wrong.

Hmm yeah I suppose but he was at man utd having just won the CL and was the highest paid player in the premiership.

I'd love to think that GB is different to other footballers but he could go there, earn £300K a week, play in front of 90K a week and challenge for the biggest trophies. Struggling to think of why he'd stay other than a Spurs bias.

Am I the only person on here who doesn't think without a shadow of a doubt Bale will with us next season???

Like I said the one reason that makes me think we will sell at no cost is that we are lagging behind every top club and Bale can take us to the next level and generate us even more income to be competitive in terms of revenue(I know people say stadium is needed but if you exclude the stadiums we are still lagging behind by a lot)

Yes.

(apart from Brazilyid)

As said above, Levy has assured AVB, and in turn Paulinho, (who has been quoted as such) That Bale will not be sold.

So selling Bale whatever the costs would open up far too many cans of worms IMO.

Exactly. I'm sure Bale will go next summer, but given what both AVB and Paulinho have said about being assured Bale will be staying, I'd be shocked if he went now. It would guarantee AVB leaving (either quitting or taking the next good opportunity), and would immediately make Paulinho question his decision to join us.

Depends how much potential revenue keeping Bale for another year will make. We'll still get at least 50 million for him next season barring a complete miracle.

A figure of 80 million might sound jaw dropping now but if we were privy to the projections of what he could be earning the Club over the next year at least, it might not sound so impressive - a big fee now that is.

A lot of factors to be considered and we aren't in the position to weigh that up. Add to that what AVB and Paulinho have said, I'll be very surprised if it happens this summer.

Thanks for your response and thanks for clearing that up for me and im sure a few others. I know it must get slightly annoying (well maybe not to you because as you say you don't get annoyed :D) when lots of people keep asking you questions once they realise you are ITK, so i appreciate you taking the time to answer my question.

Keep up the good work! COYS! Gunna be a great year!

A world record fee and we'd sell, imo. I think DL would have to take it and I could see AVB, Baldini and whoever else being OK with it too as long as a large chunk of that money goes back into the team.

Just a case of Marca creating a shit storm. The Madrid fans spoke. They said they wanted bale. They must be seen to be trying
This is exactly, as I said in the Bale thread, Madrid are building a team that has no room for bale. The only way we should be worried is if Ronaldo leaves.

That said rumours of United getting sponsorship for a Ronaldo deal seems like a load of bollocks as the guy who paid united silly money from Chevrolet, got sacked afterwards for that deal
