Surely theres a thread elsewhere for all those who think Levy is tight....

Although not for me to say, but I've never considered myself tight. However even I tend to dot both eyes in words with the same pen too ;). I even tapped this in with the same fat fingers.

And here we go. One off the cuff comment begets a response, which begets another response and lo! The thread goes offuss topiccus. Much better you talk about Levy doing a Mr Pink on Angela Lansbury.

well...thats torn it. I've told some of the boys in my U8's team that we're signing Paulinho and Villa now so it better happen or I'm going to like a right plum...more so than normal!

Any News on anyone we've been previouslyblinked with? Maybe PEA? Im excited by the early progress we've made ghis season :) Has Levy really learnt from his mistakes?!

6m for Ade is no where near enough. Replacing him for anywhere near that money will be nigh on impossible. I'd be most reluctant to let him go for that sort of money

6 million for Ade and his wages off the books. I would take him personally by Pedalo for an offer like that.

Not until we've got players in or at least very close to signing.

Ade, for all his failings, is still the best striker we have, particularly considering the system AVB wants to play, and we will need three strikers in the squad next season (probably).

I'd sooner let Defoe go than Adebayor.

Well there is a PEA thread, where it was stated that we p'ssed him off with advances before... As they say in Germany "Wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil!"

But anyway, A&C has said we need to talk about Lansbury's Loins... so get yer granny hats on, it's time to go diving. If anyone can dig out some ITK whilst down there, that would be grand... am sure Levy left something behind.

EDIT: Oh yeah and I would like more for Ade, but could well be that any prospective buyer has to also give Ade a payoff to compensate for wage differentials, yeah, that old chestnut.

Ade has had one good season and one bad season. Because he had one bad season a number of people want him sold but if he had gone elsewhere I bet those same people would be complaining that he left. Let's see what he does this season, when he's had a proper pre-season before people start to write him off.

I think selling Ade is a mistake full stop.

as much as I take the piss out of Ade and his laziness and poor attitude at times, i'd like to see him stay too.

He does need to pull his finger out this season and show us the footballer he can be. He's on a big wedge and he needs to prove his worth but I do like him and believe he has a lot to offer.

Man you must be the best player in that league by quite some distance.

For whatever reason he missed pre season last year then struggled with injuries then got his season interrupted by the ANC (not Mandela's mates). A clear run at things, and a bit more guile in our team and he'll come good again. Simply put, he's a top class forward and we are not over blessed with them.

I'm not aware of any striker replacement we've purchased that would mean we could let Ade go.

:) I run circles around those little turds...

They think because I'm their coach that I used to be a professional footballer...well it's not my place to shatter the illusion.
