So Levy is going to the USA while we have a big deal for a new striker nearly but not concluded? I guess this time there is a lot of work to do at the office. Incomings and outgoings....don't like it.

Ok so told bales agent and parents at the training ground with him! Make of that what u will! 3 separate people have told me this!

So Bale's agent and parents show up at the training ground to have a proper talk with Levy. Levy, the all-knowing that he is, then decided to jump on the first flight outta London he could find. Proper excuse. Brilliant chairman!

Right, not poo pooing Gards info however - Sandro posted a pic on Instagram 5 hours ago saying "good morning I'm home", so I will assume the spurs entourage landed in Blighty at about 6.45 ish this morning. Now a direct flight back from Hong Kong is around 13 and half hours. Do we think Bale will be rocking up at the training ground, he is gonna be cream crackered! Considering they are 7 hours ahead over there is is gonna be jet lagged, well one assumes.

If the other ITK is to be believed, that Levy is leaving the country, who would Bale/parents/agent be going to see, if this is for crunch talks then Levy would be required surely??

Could be that they want to be there for when he puts pen to paper on his new Spurs deal - often seen as a family thing early on in someone's career and we've heard his parents are happy for him at Spurs. I actually do think this for some reason.

It happened with Benteke - out of the blue he signs a new contract, why can't it happen with us.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't he of had to make guarantees to EA sports and BT regarding his imminent future at Spurs?

No doubt EA would be majorly pissed off if they had several million printed FIFA covers and they were all out-dated.

Also all the advertisement and marketing BT have paid for with Bale as the face of it for the premier league, only not for him to play in it next year?

That would be a bit of a disaster for him on a marketing front.
Exactly the point I made yesterday in a post that ought to be tattoed onto the cocks of everyone who is shitting their skivvies at the thought of losing him.

If anyone really thought that specualtion wouldn't intensify as the window progressed they need to go start reading Humpty Dumpty or something. It'll intensify and multiply with every passing day and week until finally the window closes and he'll still be here.

We hear he doesn't want to uproot his family
We hear that his growing commercial deals were dependant on him staying in the UK
We hear he's happy to stay on
We hear we're negotiating a new deal
We KNOW he's level headed, rational and calm about these things
And probably a load more stuff that i've missed

Then we get the media, who are either agenda driven at best or outright bullshitters, which you all state is the case when is suits you, a smiley and a couple of bits of ITK, to which the appropriate amount of salt hasn't been added.........

I don't think anything has changed. For me, Bale is staying. I've read nothing that would lead me to change my mind. It's just that i've got the salt right next to me. Some of you might like to do the same.

At some point we'll probably get some positive ITK and you can all feel happy and warm again, right up until the next snippet you don't like. It's like someone crossed Groundhog Day with Bi-Polar.

It's just a shame that very few of us have tallywhackers big enough to tattoo all of that onto

Looks very positive to me that Levy is off to Miami. 1. Soldado is all tied up barring medical and Franco can fot the i's. 2. Bale is going nowhere, probably not this season, but definiteley not imminently.

Why let common sense get in the way of online bi-polar tendencies?

Yeah, none of the signs this summer would make you think a move was being considered by him, his agent or the club.

Added to that his quotes where he wants to 'continue to improve' under AVB, and talking about getting us back into the top 4 this season.

The only thing that is strange about the overwhelming evidence that he's staying, is the fact he won't come and and say it directly.

Was told by reports (AVB?) that he wasn't due to be back training until Wednesday.

Hopefully it's to put pen to paper once and for all. Sign the friggin' £170k a week deal will ya, minus the box costs (of course!).

Yep - AVB said first team not due back until Wednesday, so either this news is either BS or it's contract meeting, which makes no sense with Levy being at the airport.

Intriguingly (or not :) ) the distance from Hong Kong to Miami is about 9000 miles.

Hong Kong to London is about 6000 miles, then London to Miami is about 4500 miles= total journey 10500 miles.

So something or someone has caused Levy to add 1500 miles to his travelling, maybe he had to feed the cat on the way through?

This could be highly relevant.

I would assume that they've gone to see the club Media officer to get some advice on how best to handle all of the spurious noise that's come up in the last few days.
Not unreasonable to try and protect himself, his family and his brand from any unnecessary abuse no matter the outcome.

Flying East to West is a lot easier than vice versa, plus he hardly flew cattle-class.

When i flew back from Tokyo I felt fine, so it isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

Anyway, gotta love the Airport stuff, that is what we really live for round here, quality. But The papers were already reporting Levy to Florida where Perez would meet him. Whilst the Perez bit might be b0ll0x, it is clear the media caught wind of Levy's travel plans ahead of us.

Until he signs a new contract then that would be stupid. Talks are ongoing, he doesnt want to make a public commitment until he and his agent are satisfied with the terms. not at all concerned he hasnt come out and said anything - he would be an idiot if he did.

That's a good point. Maybe they are there to hold talks to really help ease the tension for everyone involved. Even if Bale comes out and says, to some extent, "I'm not leaving Tottenham this summer" Real Madrid and their newspapers will continue to come up with fabricated stories.

Let's just hope that Bale and his team are there to really get on the same page to come up with the best way to deal with the next few weeks.

He has gone to Miami, not Outer Mongolia or Sudan

Levy will have phone access, internet access, Skype access, fax access.

Am sure he is more than able to discuss Spurs business from his sun lounger

No need to panic

So Levy going AWOL lol

The silent treatment is a real killer to, trust me. My ex bird use to do it all the time. In fact she did it that much I kind of started to like it. It got to the point where I use to pick arguments so I could get a couple of weeks peace - and yes, she was that mental.

Anyhow, I could see Levy being aloof over all this. All the speculation will be water off a ducks back to him.

He has never commented directly on that sort of matter - with good reason. While he might be in a position to say categorically that he is staying at present, doing so would only encourage the press to keep asking him for ever more. Think what a story they would make of it if his statements became anything less than totally categorical. Also he would be storing up problems for himself if/when it comes to the point where he actually does want to leave. He might not wish to make the fact public - but wouldn't want to tell lies either.
