I think it will be very hard to upgrade our squad in the summer. This is the best squad we've ever had IMO.

I don't know where we'd start. Vorm and Eriksen are perhaps the next in line for upgrading upon?

Can't really answer that question in this specific thread, I'm afraid.

I'd concur this is the best squad of players assembled. Imagine having Bale and Modric in this squad with a fit king at the back. Evolution rather than revolution from now on and the next few years could be really exciting!

Squad wise the current one edge it but I still think the redknapp 11 was very solid and full of quality. Bale, Modric, Parker, Lennon, Rafa and Ade were pretty awesome.

Ps i dont think Eriksen needs upgrading imo, just need him to push on just that little bit more, to take him from a really really good player to a proper World beater! not as easy as it sounds but he has the potential for sure!!!

Harry was lucky with the squad he inherited!!! No excuse for that team not to make top 4 every season as a minimum! oh well, a striker and dm cover for this jan window would do me just fine!!!

I think with technology ever racing forward, for my money, I'll be expecting a virtual handjob from a holographic A&C in 2049. On the transfer window, i think it says alot that I've barely been in here this January. Says great things about our team! COYS.

It was better with Crouch than Ade! That Champions league team was great to watch!

Nope disagree, we will continue pretty much a we have done in the last 5 years - when we've funded a £45m training centre plus a lot of fees for the Northumberland Park Development, which probably doubles that figure.......and all coming out of the same pot as we've used to buy players.

Actually, most of the ITK (and Uncle Danny's comments) I remember says we have a separate pot for development as for players - so not the same pot.
Yes, they all come from Spurs overall but the two budgets are separate.
But I like the gist of your point - there is no reason we shouldn't spend ... Except if the player in question doesn't add to the overall quality of the team/squad, that is!
