I don't really care about signing big name players, I just want players that fit in with Poch's idea's and style. May not be as exciting but I think it will provide a more likely chance of 'success'

The calibre of players we are able to bring in is hardly going to scare the big boys.
After yesetrdays debacle we need a lift as we have so many average players. Its not going to happen is it?!

Compared to where we were this time in 2010. Shows how far we have fallen in 4 years.

All a bit crap really.

The best we can hope for today is Morgan Schneiderling! Woo hoo. Its no Van Der Vaat is it?! :-(

Just shows FFP is working as its designed to stop the big boys being threatened because no one else can afford to pay the ridiculous prices they can.

Schneiderlin would be a far better signing than VDV was. A player the manager has identified as the integral cog of what he's trying to build who is desperate to join with his best years ahead of him vs a player who was on the way down and a manager who didn't really want him and had to change his system to accommodate him.

Have you got a short memory or something? He was exciting, charismatic, and proper Spurs type player. Loved him and miss him.

Schenirlin is a good player but he aint fit to lace VDV boots.

Hmmm, I would explain where your logic falls down in relation to Schneiderlin, Poch, his system etc...but i'm not sure you'd get it...

I'd like to see us try and take advantage if the loan market today. Must be some excellent players out there who we can pinch in on loan.

We need a striker as far as I'm concerned. Not some namby pamby effort either, needs to be someone who will bully defenders. Personally think we should be after Negredo as he appears to be available. I still don't see the fascination with Welbeck.

I could definitely see us not getting our targets in on account of not being able to ship the necessary players out.

There were murmurings, but it was also said very very unlikely.

first it was Dawson... now its Lennon..... These players have been with us for so long, they are our heart and soul. Say what you want but i have a soft spot for players who have stucked with us through the ups and downs.

And now Holtby should be leaving... and Sandro too....

I'd keep that post on your clip board if I was you as you will repeat it a few times today!

Because transfer deadline day is carnage (in a fun way!) I wondered if its worth creating a free for all rumours thread just for last day where we can all come together, be merry, discuss Levys wheelbarrow, Saywers tits and Ryan Babels latest helicopter ride?

To aide with fund raising you could charge a donation fee for access or something of £1. I reckon loads of people just love the rumours and chaos of TDD and to share with our brothers and sisters on here.

Anyway a discussion for another day! Bring on the madness. X

Rebrab commented yesterday that we had previously looked at him but only if we had moved both Kaboul and fryers on. But that was weeks ago and now not relevant.

Edit: here you are. In relation to nastasic
