I think the best case scenario is us getting Lloris, Moutinho and Remy, and Hamburg not meeting our demands for VDV. So that is what I'm praying for.

Wll the last hour was fun, catching up on over 30 pages of garbage from the end of yesterday's discussion thread.

It wasn't all bad though, I was scrolling on my phone and made sure my thumb was always over the disagree button.

I have a mixed feeling of excitement/fear. Hopefully we will get Lloris, Mouts and a deadline special (striker PLEASE).

Me myself have a 6 hours drive to make later this day. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. o_O

Let the fun and games begin! just 15 hours until Levy time!
Am I right in thinking that Levy time has only ever really produced one top draw signing in Van Der Vaart and even that was at the expense of signing what we really needed at the time (a top class striker) leaving us with Crouch as first choice.

Meanwhile there have been rumours of futile bids for Aguero and Rossi.....oh yea and Charlie fucking Adam. Not to mention that one glorious moment when Levy time brought us such Gems as Berbatov out (following Keane) breaking up our best strike partnership since Sheringham/Klinsmann.....softened with a loan deal for Frasier Campbell to link up with the mighty signing of Pavluchenko

I'm not so sure why "Levy Time" is considered so very exciting, unless I have missed something great that has happened (like the late window swoops for Defoe perhaps) it really does seem a tad over rated to me and I fear once again the window is going to close without us really having done the sort of business we should have.

Edit: there was the late moves for Parker and Ade last year of course which were both solid but as I recall that window shut with us all pretty much saying "what the fuck?" having expected so much more...as we did the year before when CL status and money didn't really translate to anything special..... I suspect it will be a similar feeling when this window shuts, there will be positives and it will not be all doom and gloom but I think a lot, if not most of us hand on heart would have to say we expected more from the transfer window yet again.

Perhaps the problem is we have deluded expectations for what can be done at a club in our position, but losing Modric, King and possibly VdV in the same window means there are going to have to be some pretty spectacular signings today for anyone to really say the window can be labelled a success.

A & C

Many thanks for all the amusment you have given us throughout the transfer window.

Some of the stories and songs (not to mention your balls, hidden vadge, multi dildos and butt plugs) have been classics and probably deserve another airing once this madness is over.

Thanks again

I know we all want excitement but atm I would happily take Lloris and Moutinho and be done with it! For once I'm being pragmatic
